The article does not say whether the child and the dogs were previously acquainted.

Sounds like the dogs were doing a better job of looking after this child than the parents were!

During their investigation, police said a dog tried to bite a sergeant and was shot. The dog is recovering.

It is pretty obvious that police need more training on how to deal with aggressive dogs without shooting them. It can be done.

Nice dogs in that neighborhood. I guess that that there are still places in America where some dogs are allowed to run/roam free.

Good on those dogs for looking after the boy, they’re better people than his putative mother.

Good save, but I’m thinking the babies parents/guardians were the victims of a criminal attack.

I find it most interesting that a pack of dogs - which are, at heart, opportunistic carnivores - protected a defenseless child, while at the same time legions of human females - who generally are, at heart, fiercely protective of infants and children - have, do and will continue to murder literally millions of completely defenseless children before they even have the chance to take their first breath.

The contrast is simply astonishing in a society that is supposed to be moral.

So...are they charging the dogs with neglect for not changing the dirty diaper?

Slob families on welfare don’t take care of their kids or their animals and the parents are never married because that would cut into their free cash.
These people are not being helped by being allowed to breed for money.

“Animal control was called in to handle the animals AT THE HOUSE and ended up shooting one of the dogs after it became “very aggressive and lunged” at the sergeant, trying to bite him, according to police. The dog was taken to a veterinary hospital.”
