Whole Title: 'Get my work off your walls!': Ivanka Trump hit by protest from artists demanding their work be removed from her famous home because they're 'embarrassed' to be associated with her family
A growing group of artists is hitting back against Ivanka Trump, with some even demanding the president-elect's daughter take their work down off her walls.
A collection of New York artists have banded together to protest Donald Trump through his daughter, with a campaign called 'Dear Ivanka'.
The colorful crusade was created by the Halt Action Group, which was founded by curator Alison Gingeras, dealer Bill Powers, Jonathan Horowitz, and a group of others associated with the art scene, Bloomberg reports.

What is “clothing range” and how does “clothing range” scare someone?
Phobic much?!!!
Burn it!!
I think they should hang then up over the urinals at various Trump facilities.
She should take it one step further and commission works of art from these artists, hire the photographers, and exhibit the “hypocrisy” of the “bake the cake”/”take the photo” movements that force creators to make works for those they do not agree with.
A cake is a foodstuff, until you add the decoration (icing, bridge and groom on top, etc.) and you don’t even have to personally attend the event.
A photographer by nature of the work MUST attend the service, must WATCH the service (in extreme closeup) taking photos, including of the ‘kiss’.
The Left is just throwing hissy fits at this point. GTFO if they aren’t going to behave in a civilized manner.
Okay freaks, then give her back the money she spent on them. Problem solved. Idiots.
So they can refuse to photograph her wedding or son’s bar mitzveh? On first amendment grounds?
Didn’t work for photographers who refused to photograph same sex weddings. EVEN with the state(s) they were in didn’t recognize same sex marriage.
On the nose.
LOL. She bought it. She owns it. F em all.
Sidewalk sale along with other cheap trash!

Goes well “with the couch” but not culturally significant.
I ran a gallery in NYC over 30 years ago. A couple from Scarsdale NY wanted to buy a painting which was (over) priced by the artists for 20k. One would think the artist would be thrilled that she had a buyer. No. She refused to sell the painting because the couple wanted to hang the painting in their daughter's bedroom instead of their living room.
I couldn't believe that there was haggling over where the painting was to hang instead of the price. That painting never sold. It was damaged in the flood of 2011.
Back to Ivanka, she can take those painting, toss them in a dumpster and phototgraph that. The artists are biting the hand that fed them. May they starve now.
The artist are getting attention and people are checking out their work.
In other words their publicity stunt is working.
curator Alison Gingeras, dealer Bill Powers, Jonathan Horowitz, and a group of others associated with the art scene,
Probably not that many actual artists, mostly the
leeches that live off them.
I would be proud if Ivanka had my work.
I have never seen liberals go this bizzurk.
Or maybe have some local kids submit crayon artwork and tape it to the other "artwork" and then invite an art industry publication to come in and photograph your new improved art. Something insulting to the high-brow snowflake "artists."
I’d have to actually see the couch to confirm that it goes with it. But I’m sure I could have found thousands of paintings that would have gone with the couch. However, there is no doubt that your culturally insignificant assessment is spot on. 8>)
One can feel the explosive hatred. Are they truly that unaware?
From the original article, these ‘works’ have appreciated in value based on sales of similar ‘art’ by the same artists. Ivanka is also entitled to the return on her investment, so she should get market price, not what she paid.
Typical artists, they beg you to buy their products, make demands of you about what used to be their property, NEVER offer to buy it back, and they only shun you until they need another handout.
