Obama, Gates Work to Dissolve Suburban School Districts
National Review ^ | Sep 19, 2016 | Stanley Kurtz

AFFH (Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing), President Obama’s most radical regulation, continues to go virtually unmentioned in the campaign. You might think a policy that allows big cities to swallow up and control surrounding suburbs would be widely debated and discussed, especially in an election where the suburbs hold the balance of power. Instead, both presidential candidates make a point of avoiding the issue.

Meanwhile, it’s become increasingly clear that AFFH is about a great deal more than housing. In truth, this sweepingly transformative regulation creates levers by which the feds can reach into almost every aspect of local government. In the latest development, AFFH has been revealed as a play to nullify the boundaries of suburban school districts. If President Obama and his allies have their way, the locally controlled suburban school will soon be a thing of the past.

In 2012, when I published Spreading the Wealth: How Obama is Robbing the Suburbs to Pay for the Cities, I predicted that Obama would use government funding as a lever to effectively dissolve suburban school districts, redistributing their revenues to nearby cities and forcing them to import students from outside the district. Now a “Dear Colleague” letter from three Obama cabinet secretaries makes it clear that AFFH is going to be used for precisely these purposes.

Trump has so many Job #1 Priorities, I don’t know how he’ll get to all of them on Day #1. Killing this “AFFH” monstrosity that infringes on every American’s liberties has to be near the top of the list. This is such a diabolical communist plot to kill private property rights that it deserves a prompt and fatal slash of the sword.

Excerpt from the Affirmatively Furthering Fair House Rule Guidebook

Exhibit 2-1 Place-based and Mobility Strategies

Place-Based Strategies: Investments to substantially improve physical and economic development in racially or ethnically concentrated low income neighborhoods to revitalize the area.

Mobility Strategies: Investments that promote integration by giving residents of segregated areas or R/ECAPs the opportunity to move to areas with greater access to opportunity.

These types of strategies may include:

  • Building rehabilitation as a part of a concerted community revitalization effort

  • New construction of mixed income housing designed to integrate R/ECAPs

  • Commercial redevelopment to attract jobs, access to financial services, grocery stores, and other businesses

  • Government interagency coordination to address multiple needs including housing, schools, criminal justice, transit, access to health care, etc., to reduce disparities in access to opportunity in segregated areas based on race, national origin, disability, familial status, or other protected characteristics

These types of strategies may include:

  • Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher strategies, including mobility counseling, increased landlord participation, exception rents, regional coordination, etc., that enable residents to locate in areas of opportunity

  • Increasing the stock of scattered site affordable housing in integrated areas and areas of opportunity

  • Increasing the availability of affordable housing, including mixed- income housing, in areas of opportunity, such as through targeted siting, new construction, and the removal of existing regulatory barriers

  • Increasing access for individuals with protected characteristics to existing affordable housing in higher opportunity areas

I would prefer Fed.gov would just go bankrupt - but it won’t as long as we have a completely fiat currency and a central bank to monetize debt and manipulate interest rates.

Looks to me like this defines Dr. Carson’s “Job #1” when he arrives at HUD and further explains the immediate resistance his nomination announcement received. The creepy crawly slimy things hiding under the rocks can’t have someone coming in to expose this underworld. AFFH would overcome normal people attempting to make a better life for their family through physical separation from the scumbags who would drag everyone down to their level.

Again with the fear that this will be implemented in the next 40 days.

The book mentioned was 4 years ago. If it didn’t happen yet, it ain’t happening in 40 days.

I dont get the horror stories about what obama’s gonna do. He’s out.

Guess some people thrive off of them.

I know he’s out. But his deeds remain.

He has instituted a web of coordinated programs via HUD, DOT, EPA, Dept of Ed, ACA.

They must be dismantled.

FDR is out, his deeds are still with us.

LBJ is out, his deeds are still with us.

BHO is out, his deeds are still with us.

They must be demolished.

None of this is within the jurisdiction of the Federal government. Like Obamacare, States are bribed or coerced into surrendering their sovereignty.

It’s much broader and deeper than “ communism”

This is part of the globalist one world government Agenda 21
They have big plans for America and changing choices individual Americans can make about where and how to live
Dissolving local control is fundamental

Would love to hear what Ben Carson’s view on this issue is,I don’t think 99% of America is aware of this plan.

SO many holes in their plan.

- Even in toffee-nosed Liberal suburbs the residents stiffen their spines and suddenly turn into Archie Bunkers whenever you suggest busing inner-city kids into their district.

- Urban school systems are collapsing at a far faster rate than they can tear down the suburban ones.

- None of them anticipated President Trump.
