Can’t stand Starbuck’s coffee or stores. 7-11 has $1.00 (+GST) for refills of mugs up to 36 oz. The have multiple coffee flavours and multiple garnishes for your coffee, if you so choose. Best deal going! I ‘pre-trip’ my bus, drive to the 7-11 at 7:00AM, get a coffee and do my run. I finish the rest of the coffee when I get home. A good way to start the morning!

In fact, once 7-Eleven started up "up their game" with coffee, it stole a LOT of business from Starbucks. I can get a very nice 16 oz. coffee with my choice of flavorings for US$1.60, and because I'm a member of the 7-Eleven 7Rewards program, every seventh cup is free.

I generally try to avoid Starbucks because of its left-wing leanings. Actually I enjoy diner-shop Joe as long as it's freshly brewed. That's really the secret. (And saves me $$.)

While I do buy artisanal coffee, there are limits. $10 for a cup? No way! This frou-frou stuff has gotten out of hand. Coffee has become overfeminized, like the rest of our culture.
