Colin Kaepernick is reportedly planning to opt out of his contract after the 2016 season and become a free agent.
Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers agreed to a restructured contract earlier in the year, and the new deal includes a player option for 2017 and a guarantee that the Niners cannot use the franchise tag on him. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Kaepernick will void the deal, though he could end up returning to San Francisco.

I just visited yesterday with a college football coach if he had any players kneel during the national anthem. He keeps his players in the locker room during the song. Doesn’t want to give his players the opportunity to make an idiot of themselves. Smart move.

With a 1-11 record in his last twelve games, and if I remember correctly he was not playing in the single win, that seems like an excellent business strategy. I’ll bet all the teams want a losing quarterback who would drive away fans even if he could win.
