Just a few days ago Jim Deligatti, the inventor of the Big Mac, passed away in Pittsburgh at age 98.
Coincidence???
Most surprising revelation to me was that there actually WAS a General Tso.

Since things like this happen in threes, there must be a lot of people who invented some other famous food that are very worried.

Not to mention General Tso’s Chicken was created to serve to an Admiral.

Schezuan orange peel chicken for me, please. With sweet iced tea and keep it coming, that stuff is hot.

When you have a couple hours to kill watch
The Search For General Tso.
A quirky little documentary about the General's chicken. Seems most Chinese interviewed know who he was, but have never heard of his chicken. I watched it on Netflix.

From Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Tso%27s_chicken
The dish is named after Zuo Zongtang (formerly romanized Tso Tsung-t’ang), a Qing dynasty statesman and military leader, although there is no recorded connection to him nor is the dish known in Hunan, Zuo’s home province

So General Tso outranked Colonel Sanders.

That's because in China it's known as Stonewall Jackson's Chicken.
