One man is dead and two women are injured after what San Antonio Police said was a domestic dispute that took a violent turn on Friday afternoon.
The incident started around 4 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot on the 1600 block of Vance Jackson.
Police said the suspect, identified by police as Teles Jurarez, 21, had a woman by the hair in the parking lot when a man pulled up and tried to help her. The Good Samaritan, who was still in his car, told the male suspect "Get your hands off her."
After that verbal command, investigators say Juarez pulled out a gun and shot the Good Samaritan in the neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Juarez fired several other shots, one that hit a woman who was farther down the parking lot. That woman, who had nothing to do with the situation, was taken to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A woman that was in the vehicle with the Good Samaritan was hit by shrapnel and also taken to the hospital.
SAPD said Juarez drove away but was located by the police helicopter and was arrested at Cupples and Castroville Road.
No word on the identities of the victims or what led up to the domestic dispute.

Prosecutors will likely need the testimony of the girlfriend to prove that a felony was in progress when the Good Samaritan was killed.
I'll speculate that the murderer is a gang member.
The girlfriend will need some Olympic scale courage to testify against him in court.
Bad luck all around.
Before Blacks Live Matter and the corrupt Obama Justice Department, the Texas Police would have shot the guy like 30 times after the helicopter tracked him down.
Now, we'll have to feed, clothe, house, and medicate this psychopath for the next 60 years.
Heh!
Or just get medieval on him like Marcellus and his gang did to Zed.
Really?
Do NOT deport him.
Death penalty.
Your logic is totally unfounded.
Cops have families.
Firemen have families.
Soliders have families.
Men and women in the Coast Guard have families.
Pilots that fly MediVac in horrible weather conditions have families.

“If one has a family it is immoral to risk ones life in the service of a stranger.”
You’re obviously not a Vet, are ya, Noob? ;)
I took the comment to refer to “an ordinary everyday citizen”, not someone who to an oath to protect and serve, or military??
I heartily agree.
Juarez proudly voted for Hillary Clinton
It sounds as though Teles didn’t get those four big screen TVs and 3 lap tops he was hoping to get.
Might have been smarter psychology on the part of the Good Samaritan to try to defuse the situation rather than issuing a command to someone who is already trying to prove he is in control.

prayers. God be with them all and their loved ones.
They way they describe the good samaritan, it’s almost like they are blaming the victim for getting shot.

No it isn’t. That’s a cowards view of society. He might have used better tactics, or been better prepared, but he did right.
It sure as hell wasn’t “immoral”.
