Hillary at Thanksgiving

Imagine there’s no presidency, no deplorables too…

Over the past few days I have asked a few friends what they think life is like for Hillary Clinton right now. Of course this is a hypothetical question, since they don’t know, but it is sort of an interesting idea to let your mind wander and wonder what life is like inside Casa Clinton; not just inside the actual house, but inside her actual head. Caution: we are entering an unsafe and scary space.

Let’s start with the outside of the house. I’m sure it’s heavily guarded with Secret Service and private security. I see her home being heavily fenced in with a guard tower, with active patrols going on hourly. There are cameras on every wall and tree. No one is allowed in, including Bill, unless they have been pre-approved days in advance. This means Bill is never allowed in.

I imagine Bill coming up to her. “Hey, Hillary, we had three elections between us, and I won two. Two outta three ain’t bad”.

LOL! Bill never let his meatloaf.

I found nothing in the article to consider it a ‘plea for clemency.’ It is, to me, a good semi-satirical article about how her defeat may be in her own mind.

Read the comments. They’re almost as good, or better, than the article. Which is near dead solid perfect.

The author says it is not necessary to pardon Hillary, but give her a stay of execution, which is based on a "deal" that she stay out of the limelight, i.e., you stay away from us, we will stay away from you.

This is a plea not to pursue legal action against Hillary and presumably her husband. What happens to the Clinton Foundation? Who is going to strike a deal? Trump or Sessions?

This is just another veiled plea for clemency for Hillary because she has suffered enough and will continue to suffer. Bill Clinton was impeached and not convicted using a similar rationale. Within a few years, Bill's personal popularity skyrocketed. The failure to put a stake thru the hearts of both Clintons just ensures that they will reemerge again on the political stage.

Hillary received two million more votes than Trump and has the third highest total ever received by a Presidential candidate in history. She is already being portrayed as a victim and denied her rightful destiny. I expect Hillary to try to run again in 2020 when she is 73 and Trump is 74, with the only caveat being a health problem. During the next four years there will be an active campaign to resurrect her image. She will use surrogates initially to trash Trump. They have already blamed Comey for her loss.

take out the 3,000,000+ illegal votes cast and she lost by 1,000,000

Why not just make it 20 million so that she lost the popular vote by 18 million?

Excellent comment in the article from albertconstantinejr:
"...Satan, what is a server? We made a deal, I gave my soul to you..."

Apparently, the former FLOTUS, junior senator from NY and Secretary of State didn't realize that the devil is a literalist in the execution of his contracts- he delivers what its words call for, not necessarily what the other party actually wanted.

After all, he gave her a popular vote total. Perhaps she failed to specify state by state.

But to accept a pardon, she would be admitting that she was guilty. I don’t see her as being able to do that.

She won Los Angeles County by 1.5 million. Los Angeles is a sanctuary city that provided 3/4 of her total national margin. Just saying...

She sold her soul to the greatest liar and the father of lies.

What did she expect?

That he’d keep his word?

That he’d uphold his end of the bargain?

She’s dealing with an entity more evil and self-absorbed than she ever thought of being. One with less concern for anyone but himself than she has. I’ll be the enemy never even manages a smile to fool people.

I agree.

I think it is.

All that she’s left with is herself.
