If you're looking to chill out and watch a movie that will "stick with you" for months then I recommend "Even Horizon". This movie is by far one of the best Sci-Fi movies of it's time, though overlooked. I am posting the preview but if you're like me you should stop after the first 15 seconds so you go into the film not knowing anything about it. One thing I will tell however is that this film is deeply unsettling with a palpable sense of doom, and it's scary because of what it doesn't show you.
Actually, watching them Boys lose is the best Thanksgiving treat!
We saw Hacksaw Ridge the day it came out. It was EXCELLENT, IMHO.
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Grumpy Old Men
Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Walton’s Thanksgiving
Garfield’s Thanksgiving
Bundy’s Thanksgiving
Bart vs. Thanksgiving
Munsters Thanksgiving
(I’m a big cartoon and comedy fan)
When I was a kid my parents used to watch some really depraved movie (can’t remember the name) every Thanksgiving. It was something about a child who was abandoned by her foster parents and ended up in a bizarre dystopian world, where witchcraft was glorified and people could be killed just to get their shoes. Oh, and there was this wicker-man like creature who was sneaking around looking for brains. And there was opium. And cowardice was a virtue.
Sick, I tell ya.
Are you serious?
More in line with the holiday is ‘Desperate Crossing’ the untold story of the Mayflower (A&E 2006).
Well worth watching and bound to make us thankful for how far we have come since that era.
Had nightmares for weeks after watching it in the theater. Figured out why, awhile back, when I looked the movie up on a website. There's a flashback scene - hard to make out in the theater - that has stuff in it right out of Dante's Inferno.
Okay, you’re killing me, what is the name of the movie, that’s pretty bizarre I must say, still not sure if you’re yanking my chain. Your parents were a little weird?
I think that was a documentary about the Clinton Administration.

Of course, one of the characters looks, acts, and talks just like he does. So that might have had something to do with it.
I’ve been trying to, for the past 2 days, but something always comes up. Finally, I have some time before it gets busy tomorrow.
Sick, I tell ya.
LOL. Sounds very familiar....I think I have seen that
I should've freaking known better but nnnnnnnnnnoooooo....
That doesn’t sound like it will fit with most of my family this weekend.
But I have a recommendation for all who have Netflix. If you haven’t seen The Crown, (putting on queen Elizabeth’s accent now) “I highly urge you to do so.” Very well done series of 10 episodes about the Queen as a young lady. I know, that sounds boring as hell and I would never actually choose to watch it, but I promise you, it is extremely well done and never boring for one second. Acting is SUPERB. John Lithgoe plays Churchill. I look forward to watching an episode each night and we are about to finish. It would be a fun thing to binge watch over the weekend, and by Monday we would all be speaking like the Queen. The actress who plays her, and the dialog, is excellent. You won’t be disappointed.
“I dare say but it might be considered for an Emmy and deservedly so.”
Sorry, I didn’t anticipate that for you or your machine.
I use Opera, Norton 360 and AdBlockPlus, and haven’t had a problem with any of that.
Is Desperate Crossing playing on tv this weekend or can you find it on Netflix or Hulu or ??? That sounds good.
I like it with the new ending.

I use AdBlock Plus and Ghostery. Not sure how that tried getting through....
Methinks he’s making a funny. For a fun movie for the whole family, my choice would be ‘The Court Jester’ with Danny Kaye. Fun movie.
