I have a serious question, said Mark Levin on his radio program Tuesday night. Will Trump be more Nixon or Reagan? His question focused on the policy positions of the two former Republican presidents.
Some of Trumps recent comments should have conservatives wondering perhaps not quite worrying but wondering. The new president-elect has walked back or been silent on many major campaign promises, including the building of a border wall, cancelling the Paris climate agreement, and prosecuting Hillary Clinton.
Of course, we are told to ignore this, Levin said. I want [Trump] to succeed, but I want him to do the right thing.

@marklevinshow Trump could be more like Reagan if he provided amnesty to illegal aliens and tripled the national debt.

@marklevinshow @CR WHAT THE HELL KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT?
Words matter. But do so actions.
I’m taking a wait and see approach.
And he's going to steal a lot of African-Americans and Hispanics from the Left Party.
It's up to the Republican Party to prove to them they should stay.
He’ll be Trump.
Levin said Trump was “Nixonian” back in January. Guess he’s going back in the gutter again.
Will Levin be Cronkite or Will?
If he’s good he will be Trump.
It’s interesting to see things shape up.
A lot of his hardcore followers do think he’s something he’s not.
He’s a New York businessman and my guess is he will govern like one.
That is a lot better than Arkansas kleptocrats or hardcore Chicago Marxists.
He’s George H.W. Bush 2.0
The political betrayals have begun........
The General is over so the mask is coming off again. It was the Trump is Nixon but isn’t it too early show tonight.
Neither, he will be forgotten.
Indeed. Trump should be himself. He campaigned most excellently. How he governs is now ahead.
Or fake Texans from CT......
Whoa..Reagan set the groundwork for one of the longest booms in American history.
Why can’t Trump be judged against himself and not against someone too great to be compared to.
What does more for a world economy than bringing down the USSR?
The cloud of nuke war hanging over the world is a heavy burden on business.
Also, we dont hear about freed countries that are doing MUCH better now than under the USSR rule.
He’ll most likely be Trump.
Hare brains really want to pigeon hole this guy.
Bingo.
Huh?
Neither. He is going to be a major pot stirrer for awhile. Just look at what he did with this Farage thing
I think part of the dislike over the current ambassador has to do with this

Levin has very little credibility any more, so he is hardly in a position to pre-criticize President Trump before he’s taken office. I haven’t listened to his show in a year, and still will not do so. Crap like this won’t help me return.
It’s a bit early to label Trump as either Reagan or Nixon..I say let’s give the guy the chance to at least be inaugerated...give him a damned chance to step up to bat...for republican listeners of Levin’s program to try to peg the president elect so soon is rather presumptuous to say the least...it’s almost like the democrat liberals all forecasting a failed presidency before he even gets started.
To all those on Levin’s program who’ve already pegged Trump as another Nixon, he very well may just surprise the hell out of them and simultaneously shut the mouths of all the nay saying democrats at the same time. Hell, he can only impress, with the bar having been set so low already by the imposter in the White Hut.
