Back when music was music and videos were entertaining. Thanks.
I forgot this song.
November 28, 1987 number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number-one on the Adult Contemporary chart, remaining there for three weeks.
Great music video.
One of their best, as is this one.

Bought all their albums growing up until Lindsey & Stevie joined the band around 1975.
Kiln House, Future Games, Mystery To Me, Bare Trees and Then Play On are solid Mac classics. I just couldn’t get into them after they joined.
I had the Buckingham Nicks album too and loved it but I wished they’d never joined FM. I know I’m probably in the minority here.
I am glad they joined the band, but I agree that the albums between Peter Green and Lindsey Buckingham are pure gold. The late Bob Welch was a genius, and Christine McVie is just brilliant and wrongly overshadowed by Buckingham and Nicks.
That’s the thing about the band. There are many eras to choose from, each with their own draw.
Totally sweet song. I grew up in the 80’s. Thanks for reminding me to hear it again.
It seems that half of the chart hits out of Rumours featured Christine's lead vocals. When I saw the band last (around three years ago), Christine wasn't touring with them. It just wasn't the same. She really was the heart of that band, with her alto voice and a real knack for writing simple, direct, and memorable songs about the joys and pitfalls of love.
Lindsey is a fantastic musician. Stevie has the sultry voice, the looks and the rock-star image and has held on to all three, despite the ravages of time. Mick and John are each talented in their own right. It was Christine, though, that really made the magic happen.
Love it.
The best review I read about the band called Christine McVie “the calm in the storm” and I always thought that was apt.
Your concert experience is true in the albums too. The last Mac I bought (Say You Will) has some nice stuff on it, but the absence of McVie is noticeable to the point of distraction. I bought her second solo album that came out in the same era (In the Meantime) and thought “now if you just merged these two albums together you’d really have something!”
