...in the 1860's when the Republicans took away their slaves. :)
...when the Supreme Court intervened and Gore lost Florida and the 2000 election by < 400 votes, I think it was?
Reagan got elected.
When Bush beat Gore.
Yes, I have said for years that the so-called "noble" American Indian were not so much. Before the Europeans arrived, they were warring, murdering, raping, and enslaving each other. Some tribes were peaceful; others were not.
That said, the Indians got a raw deal many times from the US fedgov. They made peace treaties and then got screwed because of the settlers needing protection or land. Still, they were barbaric tribal cultures before any European arrived on scene. Think Middle East and their conflicts.
Yesterday. DIMS are our palis and moozlums. They are always angry about something.
Too good not to tweet!

When was the last time Democrats were this upset? When Republicans freed the slaves, or when Reps passed the Civil Rights Act? #AuditTheVote
Have Democrats ever not been mad about something?
***They made peace treaties and then got screwed because of the settlers needing protection or land.***
In my reading it appears many of the treaties were never ratified by Congress so never went into force or law.
The Last Time The Democrats Were This Mad Was...
...ten years ago when a Portland massage therapist refused to give Al Gore a “groin massage”.
Still, they kinda got screwed over by the Fedgov. I've seen many documentaries, some liberal some factual, on how Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse, and Red Cloud were forced into what I would call "concentration centers". It was kinda sad for the Sioux who were not as barbaric as many other tribes, like the Apache, Comanche, Cheyenne, Zuni, Cree, Pawny, Iroquois and others earlier in the East. Yes, the Lakota Sioux massacred Custer's troops, but that was after trying to work with the US fedgov, IMHO.
Ever read ON THE BORDER WITH CROOK by Burke? It gives a great insight into the Indian wars. Should be required reading before teens start bawling about “genocide”.
Right now I am again reading MASSACRES OF THE MOUNTAINS by J Dunn. Another required reading.
It appears the real culprits were crooked Indian agents and “The Indian Ring.” Custer almost lost his career by exposing them.
When Hillary failed to win election in 2016, despite massive cheating and vote fraud.
No. Can you tell me if my assessment about Indian barbarism is right or not or close? Do I have the fierceness of the particular tribes in order? I do know that the Apache and Comanche were at the top as the Europeans pushed west.
I've read that many of were so barbaric that they would even eat parts of their enemies, whether fellow Indian or European. Is that correct?
I believe you are correct. The Apache was BAD! Same for the Comanche. The others could be bad if given a chance.
Interesting thing about Custer. He was wiped out by Crazy Horse’s band of Sioux, Cheyennes and Arapahos. Several months later those SAME Cheyennes and arapahos were scouting for General Crook against Crazy Horse. He was so disliked by the other tribes that several Sioux chiefs suggested to Crook that Crazy Horse be assassinated. Crook refused.
See my tagline. Started it yesterday.
