Ever read ON THE BORDER WITH CROOK by Burke? It gives a great insight into the Indian wars. Should be required reading before teens start bawling about “genocide”.

Right now I am again reading MASSACRES OF THE MOUNTAINS by J Dunn. Another required reading.

It appears the real culprits were crooked Indian agents and “The Indian Ring.” Custer almost lost his career by exposing them.

No. Can you tell me if my assessment about Indian barbarism is right or not or close? Do I have the fierceness of the particular tribes in order? I do know that the Apache and Comanche were at the top as the Europeans pushed west.

I've read that many of were so barbaric that they would even eat parts of their enemies, whether fellow Indian or European. Is that correct?
