Corey Lewandowski, who served a brief, stormy stint as a CNN commentator after being fired as Donald Trumps campaign manager, has resigned from the network. His resignation Friday afternoon was effective immediately, said CNN spokeswoman Barbara Levin.
Lewandowskis stay at CNN, which began only days after leaving the Trump campaign in June, stirred continued debate over whether political insiders hired as network on-air contributors are more loyal to the politicians they once worked for than the network that employs them and the audience it serves.

He’s been named part of the Trump transition team.
He should have stayed, to help blow up that den of socialist iniquity from within.
According to Newsmax, Lewandowski will be the new head of the RNC and Reince Priebus will join the WH staff. Sounds good to me.
His job at CNN was done. They will have a lot of openings for Obama and Clinton staffers now.
they have no problem with staff loyalty when hiring democrats
Imagine cnn talking about loyalty
He was terrible at CNN. He didn’t even share debate questions with the candidates in advance.
I’m not sure he was ever off the payroll. CNN doesn’t like combativeness when it goes against their chosen candidate. I think they hired him without knowing about the non disclosure. I think CNN got played and I love it. :)

And Asspress never mentions Donna Brazile as part of their “controversy” over using staffers.
According to Newsmax, Carly Fiorina is also being considered as RNC head.
Not her voice again! Say it isn’t so...
The Face? Really?
I didn’t say it; Newsmax did! LOL In the same article about Corey and Reince.
How true it is, I don’t know. I always thought the RNC head was voted on by the party members, but I could be wrong.
We see what you did there ...
I’d rather Trump use him at the FCC. Let him take apart the liberal media.
Corey is the single most important team member of the Trump campaign. He was instrumental in moving Teump from joke candidate to winning the nomination. Corey’s phrase ‘let Trump be Trump’ was critical to victory p
Trump’s Doug Stamper
I’ve figured George Stephanopolis was Clinton’s Doug Stamper. I do believe Corey’s “firing” may have been a Trump ploy for the MSM to want to snatch him up for hopeful anti-Trump views but he was the opposite.
