There is so much that Trump needs to do - but the first thing he really needs to get involved with is reforming the VA.
If it means calling every regional VA director and every Hospital director to the White House for a no punches pulled pow-wow, then so be it.
If he’s committed to “draining the swamp” as we like to say, this would be a good place to start. There’s no downside to getting involved in this issue.
I’m sure the Executive Orders have already been examined and designated as “leave” or “overturn”.
And call in the top ten, twenty, fifty career people at the FBI and Justice and IRS for interviews on what was happening at these agencies in recent months (FBI) and years (Justice and IRS).
Send a signal that the career guys are going to tell all, and that the political rats are going to be held accountable, go on trial, be faced with evidence of malfeasance in office, and in the end, go to jail for their crimes.
Evaluation is a waste of time and resources. Abolish the Agencies down to the original 4. Keep those 4 but cut off much of State’s area of operation and staff.
A friend believes that he should start by interviewing the head of IT at each agency. Give them a chance to come clean and tell where all the bodies are.
If he doesn’t...gone.

Other actions that can be taken:
* Go back to the old definition of title 9 in Education to not include transgenders, not include rape tribunals that assume men are guilty
* End sue and settle lawsuits, especially by the EPA, used to force legislative action from the administration (actually by the environmentalists inside and outside the office)
* Reverse the DACA act, deport the illegal aliens.
* Withdraw federal funding for sanctuary cities the same way Obama threatened to withdrawn federal funding from states that didn’t obey his Department of Education mandates
* Reverse the federal contracting guidelines that give preference to companies that have “diversity” programs and mandates. It is cheaper to socially engineer a workforce than build a better product or service, so this is done by all the major defense contractors and other companies. It also leads to many X-studies grads getting hired to give said diversity training or administer the paperwork for the contracts. Kill the incentive to follow the diversity train, see private money that funds this crap and incentivizes graduates in it to stop.
* Use the RICO Act against the Open Society Foundation (Soros) for trying to influence an election.
* Use RICO and any other law against every shell group the DNC used to incite violence against conservatives in order to blame on the conservatives, a la Project Veritas revelations per Creamer
* End refugee resettlement immediately.
* A lot of the other regulations and changes recommended by Michael Savage’s book “Scorched Earth”.
Don’t forget to fire all those damn czars!!!
Put Rick Perry in charge of Education, Commerce, and Energy. He wanted to eliminate those departments; let’s see it happen.
Eliminate 90% or more of fedgov’s role in education, perhaps even 100% because otherwise it will grow back like a cancer. If we keep any of it, put it in Health, Education, and Welfare (currently Health and Human Services).
Eliminate just about everything in Commerce other than the Patent and Trademark Office, and that should be cut back after their PC meddling with the Washington Redskins. Trade agreements should be State.
As for Energy, put nukes in Defense, and eliminate the rest. Worthwhile energy research can be paid for by the private companies that will benefit.

Interestingly today I was listening to Hannity with Newt Gingrich and Newt said he didn’t want a cabinet position, he wanted to be some sort of big picture strategy director. To help pick the big picture initiatives to transform this government and then strategize a plan of attack for each. Interesting, rumors were Newt = SecState but of you take him at his word either he knows it’s not happening and he’s spinning it OR he really wants to go back and get a do-over for the Contract With America.
