Larry Schweikart, our own 'LS', kept assuring us -- often with hard facts and polling information -- the we would win. He would post little 'insider baseball' tidbits that gave me -- among other people -- hope. In the onslaught of biased polling, I became rather dispirited. I fully intended to vote no matter what, but I went into the evening almost convinced ClinSatan would steal it. However, during the election itself, he kept popping up and telling us to stop being so *wrecked* every time a state flipped back to Dem.

I kept looking up LS, and reading his material. He gave me hope when I felt hopeless.

This thread is intended to honor a great and intelligent Freeper, Mr. LS.

Actually, FR as a whole did, too. At lunch yesterday I was the lone person who said Trump would prevail. I predicted it largely on the basis of the information I gathered here. I will never admit it to them, but I wasn’t as confident as I made them believe I was. I was nervous all day. Spent most of it with Bible reading and pleading prayers.

I didn't see it because I was channel hopping watching the results, after being awakened by my wife's phone call at about 9:30. I had been watching a Sherlock movie to pass the time and fell asleep I guess.

But LS has been a stalwart Trump supporter without question, and a valuable asset to us all.

There have been many others as well such as GilGil, Liz, and even you Laz with your countdown that we want to thank you for. I would always sing it like the bottles of beer on the wall song, and now that song has an even greater joy added to it knowing that Donald J; Trump will indeed be replacing him. In addition posting pictures of gorgeous women in anticipation of the known remarks that would follow always offered comic relief.

When Florida was looking grim (i.e. before the Panhandle votes started coming in) someone mentioned LS should start looking for another line of work.

Yep, I remember that. It was during a time last night when it looked like Hillary was going to win Florida an Ohio. The pearl clutchers were in their prime. What a spectacle.

Landslide Trumpers were giving up, and some who I thought were FReeper concern trolls were hanging in there. It was a night to separate the FReeper men/women from the FReeper boys/girls.
