Samsung and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission are recalling 2.8 million of Samsung's top-loading washing machines after reports that 730 units exploded, resulting in nine injuries, the CPSC announced today on Good Morning America.
Were talking about ... a very serious hazard of the top of these washing machines completely blowing off, Elliot Kaye, the chairman of the CPSC, told GMA Investigates in an interview that aired Friday on GMA. It is a lot of reports.
Kaye said the tops of the affected units werent secured enough based on a design failure. And the top just completely blows off.
The recall affects 34 of Samsung's top-loading models that were sold from March 2011 to November 2016.
ABC News first reported on the risk last month following a year-long investigation into Samsungs top-loading washing machines.
Good!
It does have an overnight soak, so it should say, “Manana, manana.”
Thank-you for your recommendation.
#13 They say Banzai! then explode.
In another story from Yahoo link they had several comments recommending Speed Queen appliances.

So, their Washing Machines not only clean your clothes, they dry them too.
Maybe “dry” isn’t the right word, cook?
.
All deep cycle batteries still have caps.
The grp 24 and 27 have gang caps, and the L-16 and GC batteries have individual caps
.
.
Note also that they have plastic tubs, which are usually quite flammable.
Kenmores have steel tubs with thick porcelain coatings.
.
The cool thing about Speed Queen is they handle larger loads than other standard size machines.
