Seems like it ought to be worth it with the changes since the old oses came out.
Make it a “national project” for the universities.
Also wish a government would sponsor a non-commercial search engine. I’d rather be spied on than mis-directed.

Windows just has too many holes to be safe, especially for a foreign government. If they go open source, they can inspect every line of code for mischief, so the biggest danger becomes the hardware.
