Anyone that lived and voted during the Nixon Years realize that the events of that day represented a true Constitutional Crisis. Nixon resigned because the country was being torn apart. No one is calling the current events that occurring a constitutional crisis. It is happening because of a lack of prosecution of a presidential candidate due to the incompetence and/or politization of the actors invoved: the President, the Attorney General, and the head of the FBI. No one has trust in, or confidence in these individuals, and therefore, Congress must demand that a Special, Inependent Prosecutor be appointed. I lived through the Nixon years, and this Crisis far exceeds that one.
Constitutional Crisis? Not exactly. AN ELECTION that should proceed on schedule and under State Controlled Security in each state.
And how much in compensation did Comey previously receive from the various Clinton Crime Enterprises? And how much did the wife of the guy behind him at the FBI receive from McAuliffe, for her Congressional run? Bribery, plain and simple.
Nixon’s more egregious mistake was to fail to challenge the stolen election of 1960, when the cemeteries of a few Chicago districts put JFK in office. For the good of the country...
Hillary will be indicted and jailed. It would only be a crisis if she were elected because that odd spooky man Kane would become President.
She will be pardoned
What is happening in the US government is a level corruption that has never been experienced before. If Trump does not win this election, the only other option is to water the tree of liberty with blood.
We have had a Constitutional crisis with the Supreme Court Justactivists Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan
We shall have no crisis unless she wins.
Should THAT happen, watch out.

The investigation is just "proof of the matter" of the intentions and goals of the Clinton mafia.
He just put his aides and Republican leadership out to challenge it. Nixon in my opinion was savvy in how it was handled so as not to muddy himself personally in the process. Besides there was most likely fraud on both sides.

As I recall, Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon IN ADVANCE of any charges stemming out of Watergate. Couldn’t Obama pardon Hillary, in advance, for any charges stemming out of the e-mail scandal (if she loses... if she wins, she can pardon HERSELF).

There was no “Constitutional Crisis” then. The Constitution was upheld and things proceeded Constitutionally.
