I should have added Comey to that list.

I hate the idea of that cabal being pardoned, but I can live with it. . . as long as Hillary LOSES the election.

I don’t think he can pardon until there is an indictment.
To: samadams2000
May not hold up since they were pardoned without criminal conviction, and the Ford pardon for Nixon was not challenged. Trump will challenge and there’s nothing to stop him to do so.

As bad as Obama is, I am not sure he would do it. I have no doubt he still loathes Bill and Hill.
What if he pardoned Chelsea and Huma and not Hillary? Haha.

It would effectively end her campaign if he does it before the election. He will probably pardon her after the election in any case. Either way, if he pardons her it is the end of her political life, imho.

Won’t happen.
They would have to be charged with an act in order to be pardoned.

Cankles won’t win. But for the hell of it, if she did and Obama pardoned her, can she then turn around and pardon him?

Pardoning power is almost absolute.
Pardon has no power over impeachment. Most of these folks could be impeached, found guilty and punished by Congress, but the rules are such that it would be very unlikely.

The president cannot pardon anybody if he has articles of impeachment voted on him in the House.

If tried and convicted and Obama is in office who knows BUT Obama needs to be in office and he will be long gone, so it aint gonah happen, why bring it up
To: samadams2000
I’m guessing that there could still be a grand jury, independent prosecutor etc. and lots of unindicted co-conspirators. But the congress would probably just take a pass and breathe a sigh of relief.
