I was just thinking that the current administration has driven the sale of firearms for the last 8 years. In fact Obama has been the greatest gun salesman in history.
If Hillary wins I expect this trend to continue. But what if Trump wins.
Any thoughts?
I hope nothing. Business as usual. The entire intent of the gun movement was to display the proper purchase, training, and safe gun practices by the users. We are not here to fuel a lib agenda to take our weapons away from us. We are not here to make it seem like the libs charges and lies have any validity at all. So I hope it just moves along like normal. It will display their idiotic and fear mongering attempt to overstep the second amendment and showcase them for the fools, liars, money/power hungry cowards they are.

Thanks! I’ll add that to the list of guns to test drive.
The libs are not going away. And, I’m afraid they’ll do what they always do when they lose...throw a hissy fit. It could be a pretty significant hissy fit.
Be prepared; stay alert.
I doubt your scenario since IMO, very few BLM thug types ever wait in line at a gun store, and many probably wouldn't pass the background check. They get their guns from the street and home burglaries. I see a drop in gun and ammo costs.
Here in Commifornia, I see an increase in Ruger Scouts and other bolt type actions that are mag fed with .223/5.56. Of course, only 10 rounds per mag - just buy more mags. I also see a huge black market in ammo sales since we will have to register to purchase such.
However, there is a proposition on Commifornia ballot that will eliminate that onerous requirement. As I understand the new anti-2nd laws, basic shotguns will still be available...not sure of the ammo restriction includes shells.
Bottom line in Commifornia, 100's of thousands of AR type owners who followed the previous law about AR "bullet button" semis, will become instant felons if they don't register or turn them in. Yes, I know - leave CA...as if we can all do that.
My budget will have been completely expended by then...
Sales level off, prices fall and there is ammo aplenty!
.22 prices will drop as resources are reallocated or govt purchases are eliminated.
If you have never used a firearm I would suggest you go to an indoor gun range and rent different types of them, but above all find a good instructor first.
I grew up with firearms and had a cop-in-law that was an instructor for the department and was an expert marksman, by the time I was 16 I could shoot better than him but he was the one who taught me the basics, and we would go thru thousands of rounds of ammo as he lived in a rural area every week. Practice is everything.
“Practice is everything.”
Yep.
5.56mm
how many are in a case? I’ve never seen quantities of Mini Mags greater than 100 rounds in the clear plastic boxes.
+1 LoL!
They continue to rise because trump said he was in favor of national concealed carry for citizens. So we can travel in safety
Thanks. I’m an experienced shooter. I own a Sig P320 9mm. I shoot 500 rounds a month with it. My youngest is just starting so I want to have a .22 handy.
And a ROBUST revival of the CMP!
Just a suggestion but let Cylinder and Slide’s Gun shop work that new BHP for ya ..... you will never regret it .....

You only can break a law when an officer of the court sees you doing so.
Sooner or later you will have committed a felony, and there is a very high chance you already have but didn’t know it.
As fears of gun bans and confiscation subside under a Trump presidency. Gun sales will plummet. Just my $0.02
If he wins, then companies will have the sense that they can develop new technologies.
It will be good.
I agree sales will plummet.
That said Trump has said he wishes to extend the 14th amendment to guns, and as such get the courts to acknowledge standard size magazines and modern sporting rifles as being protected arms. His gun enthusiast son lives in Jersey and has had to deal with a lot of the issues mag/rifle feature bans induce.
Personally I would like to see the short barrel rifle rules go by-bye. If a long arm (with stock extended) is longer than 26 inches it should not require registration/200 dollar tax/NFA rules, no matter how long the barrel,
We can only hope.....
