Hope it rains election day and the Dems stay home!
Actually, it’s ME2.
Clinton +6 - +4 - +3 and there you have the problem with RCP - it’s an average over a number of days - the individual numbers themselves show a clear trend cutting the gap in half in less than two weeks - that’s the story, not some average that shows not much of anything.....
Looks suspiciously like 2012. I sure hope Trump has enough states well in hand before attempting to put a lot of effort into PA. If PA is necessary to win this election, that doesn’t give me a warm fuzzy.
the D’s Deceased voting block will still come out and vote in the rain, tho
Agreed (ME1?). This is the most likely path to victory for Trump. Anything else would be icing on the cake.
Not to be a downer, but I remember 2012 saying the same thing about Obama after he said the bitter clinger insult about us. I thought there was no way PA would vote for him after he said that.
The problem is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh have so much population density and they are all getting government checks. Then there’s all the city women who only care about their sacred right to have an abortion.
I hope it’s different this time - we certainly have a better candidate this time, that’s for sure. His speech at the old post office grand opening was so good my jaw dropped.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the optimism. I comb through FR all day looking for encouraging polls, encouraging developments and hopefully an October surprise that goes in Trump’s favor,
I’ve just been disappointed too many times by my home state of PA. It’s a great state and I’m proud of it, except the two big cities.
If you are from PA then you must know, as everyone knows, how corrupt Phila & Pittsb are wrt voting counts.
The fact that more “people” vote in these cities than actually live there is the butt of jokes far and wide.
In Phila, for years, the people in charge of the machines would openly boast that they “wait for the call” telling them what numbers they need to report, which are calculated AFTER the rest of the state (much of which is rural) reports their numbers.
The fact of the matter is, our formerly free republic is no more. Somehow, and at some point, our beloved country’s government, schools, media, entertainment, and yes, churches, have been thoroughly infiltrated with people who report to their bosses, who in turn are firmly committed hardcore tyrants. These uber wealthy people have gamed the system to squeeze the wealth from America’s middle class, systematically, through the years.
That this election should even be close is the most frightening of all. Here we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to break the chains of global bondage over us, and we’re sweating it out wondering if we will prevail? There is so much stupidity and apathy among way too many of our citizens, it is mind boggling.
Only by the Hand of God will Good prevail over Evil this election. And despite all the good thoughts and wishes, the bottom line is, NO ONE really knows God’s thoughts or plans. Thus, we pray, work, and leave it in His Hands, for it will indeed take Divine Intervention to overcome the depths of depravity of the Evil Forces which seek to keep us under their tyranny.
So you’re telling me there’s a chance.
If he wins PA then the Western , mountain states like CO, NM will go Trump too, as the Dems will just not bother going out to vote.
Hillary will carry Philly area, but not by nearly enough margin to win the state. She’s losing in areas like Harrisburg and Erie and in a virtual Tie in Pittsburgh area.... I fully expect Trump to put 3M+ votes in the box... For Hillary to do the same she will need to find support at or above obama’s 2012 and Kerry’s 2004 elections and I just don’t see it happening.
Absolutely right.
The stupidity of the polls amazes me.
So many contradicting numbers - Trump has been close in PA since this began, and yet somehow the media thinks Hill could win a landslide of is 10 or more points up.
Defies all logic, with the only explanation being that it is an intentional effort to sabotage Trump voter enthusiasm.
The last poll out of PA had regional breakdown showed hilllary losing Erie and Harrisburgh (o won both in 12) and only up 2 in Pittsburgh. In 12 Pittsburgh all one accounted for over 100k of O’s 300k win...
Hillary has to fully rely on Phily to win, and to do so she is going to have to IMHO beat Obama’s 2012 margins out of that region big time to do it and I just don’t see it happening. Trump should handily put 3M+ in the box... I don’t see Hillary being able to match that.
The wild card is, as always, vote fraud by the ‘Rats. If Trump truly has a chance in PA, it will likely be by a close margin, and we all know what happens when the results are close (’Rat usually wins).
Again.. With Massive fraud and popular candidates D’s put 3M in the box.. 08 was a spike to 3.3M, and that extra .3 was NOT fraud.
Hillary is NOT remotely popular and has no excitement. She won’t get 3M in the box even with Fraud.
We need rain in Philly election day. Dems will be looking for an excuse to stay home.
Was in western PA the other week......amazed at the support for Trump in what I would call white lower middle class areas, small towns etc....who would NEVER support a Romney-like candidate. The T is solidly conservative, but parts of the traditional Dem strongholds, unionized blue collar Reagan Democrats have definitely flipped for Trump. Will be interesting to see if the urban vote in Pitt/Philly will be enough this time around. My guess is Philly won’t look any different than it has but the Pittsburgh area will be much more red than in the past. Toss in a weak governor, Korrupt Kane going to jail and a really weak Katie McGinty and Trump could win PA.
The EPA is now targeting smaller refineries. IOW more job loses and INCREASED GASOLINE PRICES!
Coal country was just the start to serfdom.
