If offered a deal to take now and only right now, would you accept a tie in the Presidential election, and let it go to the House?

In the words of Spiro Agenew...” a bunch of effete, intellectual, snobs of a boorish variety? I think not” Well he did not say it quite like that but hell now I don’t want Paul Ryan telling me what to do about anything let along who should be POTUS!
To: Eccl 10:2
No. I mean, sure, I’d “accept” it if it happens, the way I’d accept a broken leg, but it isn’t a desired outcome. Quite a lot more is at stake beside whose butt warms the chair in the Oval Office. It is a rejection of the status quo, the cozy establishment of both parties, and a rejection of their marriage in hell with the media and academics that has formed a self-appointed ruling class. That needs to be shouted down loudly and in a huge majority, once and for all. So no, I’m in for a massive wave victory.

Internal Freeper poll: Would you accept a tie right now, at this moment? You mean that Republican controlled house which has been so effective in stopping Obama and investigating Hillary?
Gee, that's a tough one. Why wouldn't I want to continue no accomplishments of any noteworthiness?

No. Putting this in Paul Ryans hands is a bad deal.
It would not be in Paul Ryan's hands.
It's not a House vote, each State delegation get's one vote.

No. Win it outright. Otherwise Trump would be beholden to House leadership, which may or may not include Ryan.

Since Hillary has promised to use executive orders to bypass congress and to pack the supreme court with liberals, congress will not be as relevant as it’s supposed to be.

It's crazy how many people on FR don't seem to understand what happens when an election goes to the House.
When it goes to the House, it's not a House vote. The Speaker, and the Leadership, are completely bound by the process, and have no sway.
Each State Congressional delegation has ONE VOTE. The Republicans control more State delegations than the Democrats with both the outgoing, and incoming Houses.
If it goes to the House, there are no IFs, ANDs, or BUTs about it, Trump would be the next President!
