Its well known he was on his way to the fbi, which means someone within the fbi gave him up.
The Occam’s Razor explanation is that Seth Rich was the DNC leaker and he was killed as a direct result of that.
Any more complex explanation needs evidence to back it up or should be rejected out of hand.
