The next 48 hours will determine whether Trump's candidacy lives or dies. He must act accordingly.
I think Trump’s apology on Facebook was sincere and mostly sufficient. If Hillary decides to pursue it further, she will do so at her own peril. It would be best for all parties to let this slide. They probably won’t, so we may be looking forward to a bloodbath. At the very least it’s entertaining. At the very worst, Hillary will win.
I don’t see that happening.

I agree. It was a damn good statement by Trump. He will come out of this with a full on attack on Hillary. Juanita Broderick for one was attacked by both Hillary and Bill. So it is relevant today.
I think this is the quickest shootdown of an October surprise in history.
This whole thing reminds me of the Dick Cheney ‘ shooter ‘ incident . Remember all the press asking when will he step down , when will he resign ? It was silly then and it’s silly now .
Presidential politics is warfare and wars are one on the long game, one battle at a time. Granted, Trump may have been pushed back a little on the battlefield this afternoon when that tape was leaked, but he pushed forward tonight breaking through the battle lines and connecting with the American people.

This will die out by early next week. However Hillary has opened the door for a full on Bill Clinton bimbo assault by Trump.

One thing in his favor is the town hall style debate is Sunday. If he plays this right, he can at least stop the bleeding. Who knows, maybe he can even turn this into an advantage as crazy as that sounds right now.

I would answer the inevitable question with why was Hillary defending her husband when he was sticking cigars into Monica, why did she try to destroy all the women that accused her husband of molesting them or raping them? Why did she head up the “Bimbo Eruption Unit” instead of helping those women.
