I suspect that he knew something was coming to take attention from the leaked documents. He seems the sort of good businessman who can analyze anything his opponent might be able to use on him and have a defence prepared ahead of time. Rather impressive, really.
That is true if the media puts it to rest. And you know they won’t. It will be talked about for a week.
