The two suspects are Oakland Raiders fans from New York
Two Raiders fans from the tri-state -- including one who is a firefighter -- were charged with assault after authorities said they critically injured a man at a Baltimore Ravens game over the weekend.
Susan Bauer told WBAL in Baltimore that her 55-year-old brother Joseph Bauer was attending the game with his wife Sunday when he got into an argument with a group of Raiders fans at M&T Bank Stadium.
Authorities said that the two attackers, 28-year-old Scott Smith and 31-year-old Andrew Nappi, got angry when the siblings let a woman go in front of them at a concssion stand.
""They started arguing with him and someone hit my brother in the head from behind," Bauer told WBAL. "He was immediately unconscious and hit the pavement."
She said her brother is on life support and cannot breathe on his own. But he was able to give doctors a thumbs up and could recover from his wounds.
Smith, a Mount Vernon firefighter, and Nappi, of Eastchester, were both charged with assault. Smith was suspended from the fire department indefinitely after the attack. It is unclear whether either man has an attorney, and attempts to contact Smith or Nappi at their homes were unsuccessful.
The Ravens said in a statement that their sympathies go out to Joseph Bauer and his family.
A Raiders fan doesn’t care what city they are in.

Sounds like a union thug. Gubmint union thugs have enough money to go to a NFL game.

I am season ticket holder for the Browns. My seats are in the Dawg Pound. In the old stadium those seats were all blue collar guys, auto workers, etc. They would tolerate most fans from other teams wearing Jerseys. That is except for Denver. You just did not wear Denver gear unless you wanted an old-fashioned ass kicking. I remember one guy who was huge walking past the front row of the Dawg Pound wearing an Elway Jersey and giving everyone the double bird. 4 big guys just grabbed him and threw him over the rail and onto the field. The cops grabbed him and ejected him from the stadium. It still makes me giggle every time I think about it.
Soccer is so controlled on the field. Very few things besides kicking the ball are allowed. Players are trained to overact whenever they are "injured" in even the slightest manner.
As the NFL becomes more-and-more wussified with the concerns regarding head injuries, acceptance of gays/transgenders into the player ranks, women refs, Coldplay at the Super Bowl, etc. I can see the Raider's model spreading.
As aggression on the field gets diminished, there may be an increase in aggression off the field.
I would put Baltimore in the top 10 of the most disgusting, filthy, ghetto ridden, uneducated, drug abusing, hipster infested, POS city on planet earth.
There is NOTHING redeeming about Baltimore.
Place totally sucks.
