INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) The southbound lanes of Interstate 465 near Fall Creek Road are back open after a semi-trailer carrying 29,000 pounds of cookie dough caught on fire Tuesday morning.
The southbound lanes reopened around 2 p.m. They had been closed since 3:30 a.m.
Indiana State Police said the truck driver is fine. They said the driver unhooked the trailer and got the truck away just in time.
INDOT said the bridge inspection passed at southbound Shadeland and I-465. There is no structural damage to the bridge.
Slick residue from the cookie dough was left behind after the crash. Causing the lanes to remain closed for several hours.

I actually played pool with him when he came to a place I worked at in the early ‘70s. Nice man - we heard “Taxi” before it was on a record.

Neat! He was one of my Teenage Obsessions. Only got to see him in concert once; I’ll never forget it.
