True but he has a responsibility to weigh the potentially devastating cost to the sources as well.
I would prefer he waits a couple of days to release the latest batch. Tuesday is the VP debate. Give that a couple of days to die down and then the WikiLeaks release.
Assange was supposed to make a public appearance on the balcony of the embassy as part of some kind of 10-year anniversary celebration for Wikileaks. They canceled his appearance for security reasons.
There was never supposed to be a "document dump" on Tuesday.
