Asked of Hillary by fawning reporter aboard her campaign plane. She replied, 'Well, I'll be there for the second and the third debate. Donald Trump can run his campaign any way he likes.'

Projection, plain and simple. Trump could not go for the throat in the first meeting, wrong optics. But he set the star and Hillary will be quaking in her elevator shoes. Note well who hung around after the debate and had the chance to revise and extend his remarks. Hillary ran and hid. Of course, her meds were probably wearing off.

The multiple "dark speech" headlines after Trump's speech at the convention should have made it obvious that the messaging is coordinated. It was decided that she won before last night. Since it sounds like she performed OK they can add on that she won by so much that Trump will not debate her again.

Exactly. That meme is that Donald is afraid of debating Hillary. Good let them promote that meme, because it isn't going to happen. On top of that he will be better prepared. Most certainly they will review his performance and instruct school him on missed opportunities he failed to capitalize on. Hopefully they all should realize that Trump needs to prepare more because they are the key to him propelling himself in to the stratosphere and running away with the election just like Reagan did.

A major Baltimore paper is reporting the fact that NBC provided Hillary with the debate questions.
And now we know that the Debate Commission gave Donald Trump a defective microphone.
The deck was stacked against Trump and even the Drudge online poll shows that Trump won the debate by a wide margin.
