From one 'Happy Deplorable' to all American citizens,
Sometimes, it seems that little nuggets of truths are found in the most obscure writings in existence, from current publications, ancient writ, and stuff that is just plain weird, in someone's eyes.
I present to you such a raw nugget.
I quote:
"A nation must become aware of its own character before it can be said to exist. From that knowledge it must divine its destiny. It must then consider the political conditions of the world, how other countries may help it or hinder it. It must then destroy in itself any elements discordant with its destiny. Lastly, it must develop in itself those qualities which will enable it to combat successfully the external conditions which threaten to oppose its purpose."
It seems that WE, America, have become amiss of what defined our character for over 200 years.
It seems that WE, America, instead of defining ourselves through our character, have become accustomed to having a different definition of our character spoonfed to us, by those who sought public office, to where we espoused THEIR definition, and not the definition that worked for all those years.
It seems that WE, America, began to accept the browbeating by those that sought public office, when WE attempted to stand up and question THEIR definition. "OH! YOU cannot say THAT!' "How dare YOU question the intelligence, the integrity of the public official!!!"
It seems that this political year is the birth of the outcry from WE, America, "NO MORE!"
I say, "No More!" I say, "Kick the repugnants out of office, at the federal, state, and municipal levels."
What say YE, fellow American citizens?
(Oh yes, the author quoted is, Aleister Crowley, of Trinity College, Cambridge, England.)
The quote is from “Mein Kampf,” right?
Dear Sparklite,
re:
“The quote is from Mein Kampf, right?”
Not in the least! It is from an Englishman who hailed from Trinity College in Cambridge, England!!
Imagine it is a speech from Hitler. Then tell me what doesn’t ring true for Nazi Germany.
Dear sparklite,
The quote from Aleister Crowley was written BEFORE Hitler, if you were to look into that, and not have to have it explained to you.
So what? What he espouses is what Germany did. To embrace this -— “It must then destroy in itself any elements discordant with its destiny,” is pure Nazism. Defend it as you wish. I’ll have none of it.
Dear sparklite,

Whenever ANYBODY on the face of this Earth, in ANY language, says ‘so what?’, I’m not putting on the elbow-length rubber glove to remove their head from their alimentary canal!
Have a nice life.
