They are now reporting, with a picture of a pressure cooker and a cell phone attached in the bombing of Chelsea bombing...

Move on, folks (the election is only seven weeks away)...nothing to see, not terrorism...just stay-at-home housewife pressure cooker violence...oh, and Trump is a racist.

I’ll bet she makes fabulous pot-roast for you with it, too! Pork tenderloins, venison stew, chops, ribs, baked potatoes, baked sweet taters, candies, there is almost an endless list of things better cooked in a steel pressure cooker.
Excellent catch. That explains a lot!
I am a Philistine!
Seriously - next time you make them - when you eat the heart - have a glass of milk and take a swig with each bite of the heart. Years ago I stumbled on this - don’t ask me why - but it brings out the delicious taste of the artichoke heart much more.
try it and tell me if it’s just me.
What about Crock Pots?
They deflavorize all the food but won’t blow up the kitchen.

Oh please share how you bake potatoes in them
It’s hot in Florida and I dislike using my oven most of the year .
Coming from a ‘98 FReeper, that’s high praise indeed :)
Nothing unusual noted at LAX on Fri evening.
The NYC pressure cooker bombings were real awful, but a *false flag, none the less.
*orchestrated tactical event to advance a strategic goal.
The ongoing threat of Islamic attacks are real, no doubt.
However, has anyone noticed there’s often an increased state and federal LEO presence at terrorist event locations AHEAD of actual time of some “terrorist” attacks?
The multi-continent blood thirsty ISIS threat actors that US gov’t bad guys created, continue to fund and support, is a go-to trope that’s being used a bit too often, for broader agenda pushing purposes.
There’s more than meets the eye concerning NYC 9/17 events.
Cui bono - short and long term goals and objectives?

Beware the future Islamic Zero Hour catastophic event that will be carried out by real rabid Islamic savages, DELIBERATELY brought here and to Europe by our governments.

RE: “We both felt that something was going on. The next day, two bombings and a stabbing.”
My grandmother was a cooking genius with a pressure cooker.
Unfortunately, my mother wasn’t, although she always wanted to be.
I remember one time when she bought a pressure cooker to cook chicken.
We needed a new kitchen ceiling when she was done. Who would have thought that an entire chicken, bones and all, would fit through that tiny pressure relief valve on the top.
Ok, I’ll give that a try next time. And I was being facetious about the philistine bit. Growing up in New Orleans, oil and vinegar was the way it was done.
I love the whole artichoke ritual. Nostalgia, I guess.
We always used melted butter.
This bomb was right at my PATH train stop. I work a block away. Should be a zoo tomorrow morning.
Excellent graphic summation of 09/17/2016 events.
Perhaps a footnote mentioning:
- 09/17/2017 is Constitution Day.
- the NYC “pressure cooker” terror event greatly helped deflect attention away from the US bombing “mistake” that killed 70+ Russian backed Syrian gov’t forces who were fighting the very blood thirsty ISIS forces we created, fund and support.
- the attacks help draw attention away from Hillary’s crappy health for low information MSM fed masses.

Unfortunately, I lost my pressure cooker in a boating accident.
That works, too.
I used my mother in law’s pressure cooker as a still. I attached a tube to the pop off valve and ran it to a condenser that was a copper coil in a number ten can of water.
Alas....Both she and the pressure cooker are no longer with us
