North Carolina police have arrested a woman after her mother's body was found inside a freezer sold at a yard sale. Marcella Jean Lee, 56, was detained on Thursday about 100 miles (160km) south of Goldsboro, where her mum's remains were discovered. She faces a felony charge of failure to report a death, according to police. Police had been searching for Ms Lee for more than three months after a neighbour discovered the body of Arma Roush, 75, inside the freezer.

Did they think the new owner wouldn’t look inside?

Hey, yard sales merchandise is sold 'as is'.

The photo of Marcella Jean Lee looks like a scary WT character out of the film “Winter’s Bone.” You can bet this was about mama’s SS.

The seller wasn’t very bright. Did they think the new owner wouldn’t look inside?

What a bizarre story. Apparently the seller didn’t think through what would happen.

This reminds me of something that happened here in Maine.

A man’s girlfriend went missing in 1980.

After the man died several years ago, his storage locker was cleaned out by relatives.

Inside the storage locker, there was a freezer (not plugged in).

The missing woman’s body was found instead the freezer.

“An IG audit of the Social Security Administration found that the nation’s database of active Social Security numbers includes more than six and a half million people who are older than 112 years of age”

I cannot fathom why someone would not look at the inside of a freezer they were buying to put food in it BEFORE they bought it.

Not that anyone would expect to find a body in it, but God only knows what kind of shape it could have been in or what else they would have or could have found in there.

People’s behavior seems to get more bizarre everyday.

NAH, people always had some bizarre behavior.

1. NOW we get to hear/read about it, thanks to a media that has NOTHING else it considers worthwhile news.
2. There are also 7 billion of us on earth now, so there WOULD be more bizarre behavior simply because of the numbers.

Similar story a while back where a guy put his deceased dad in a freezer.

When asked why he did it, he said he wanted a cold pop.

Dead people people’s claim on payola under the guise of funeral expense needs and or whatever, just can’t let it go. Still voting too no doubt by absentee truely.
