I am passing on watching one NFL game for every ungrateful dolt in an NFL uniform that sits or kneels through the national anthem. So far, I haven’t watched one minute of NFL football through Week 1. I suspect that the whole season will be wiped out soon including the Super Bowl.
There are reasonable facsimiles, such as NCAA football, unless the college players also decide to join in en masse and ruin that sport too.
BOYCOTT!!!!!
Don’t watch any of them until the NFL shows respect for the flag.
I should call CBS,NBC,Fox and ESPN to let them know that until the league does something about those third string malcontents my time will be spent in other pursuits.
The NFL is in partnership with BLM.
Boycott.
The NFL is in partnership with BLM.
Boycott.
“BOYCOTT!!!!!
Dont watch any of them until the NFL shows respect for the flag.”
It has got to the point that I don’t even care anymore. I don’t watch them anymore. I also despise ESPN.
Okay, guys, no one on this thread supports the NFL idiots going down on one knee and none of us are echoing or championing their point of view--
While we respect your right to express your wish to 'boycott' the NFL, we have chosen not to-- And you should respect our right to hold that view.
We are not demanding you watch any NFL, so don't you demand we not watch if we choose to--
So give it a rest on jumping on this thread to add to the boycott mania that is getting to be like the Islamic Terrorists chopping off heads of those that do not walk in lock step with them.
As I express in the Week One Thread: If the terrorists bomb a church of our faith, then do we never again go to church to worship?
Now, to all of you boycotters, please do not prove just which end of the horse you are. However, if you are determined to just screw up our fun on this thread, come on back. If you can stand the foul smell your actions produce, we can, too--
THERE IS ANOTHER ONE!!!! It burns!!!!!
Waited 6 ####ing months.
Distracts from the chronic pain (no, not obama).
But there’s no choice. I talk alot about my Italian roots and did attend a fundraiser for the earthquake, but the US IS MY HOME and you trespass on my hometown song, you trespass on me, mother #####er!!
You respect our right to disagree and then compare us to Islamic terrorists
I choose the U.S. Flag and The Star Spangeled Banner over the NFL and if that offends you .... so be it.
Gadzooks-- Why must those who claim to be serving the most righteous cause only see what they want to see to make their point.
All regulars on this NFL Live Thread support the U.S. Flag and "The Star Spangled Banner" 100%-- We are not demanding you watch the NFL but you seem to be demanding we boycott or be judged to not be patriotic according to your standards.
So, if you jump on this thread to make us toe your mark of 'boycott or else,' as it appears you are doing, then the shoe fits.
Now, I shall no longer answer any more of your post as common sense does not seem to be in your frame of reference.
Bender2, It is just another thing where people who profess not to care about something have to show up on every thread about that “thing” and comment on how much they don’t care about it.
I detest soccer and baseball, two spectator sports that are only marginally more interesting to me than watching golf, which has no boredom-inducing peer.
But when I see threads about soccer, baseball, and golf, I don’t jump into them to tell them how much I am uninterested in them.
It just cuts across so many facets.
Don’t watch the NFL, watch only college sports, because they aren’t polluted by money and thugs, except that they have those things too.
Don’t support Apple because they are liberals, posted by people on Microsoft systems, even though Microsoft is an enormous donor to Planned Parenthood, the homosexual agenda, and other similar causes.
Don’t buy foreign cars, only American built, and that money goes into union coffers used to destroy American industry and support candidates like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
Don’t buy from Walmart, because they only sell Chinese crap, buy from Amazon, but wait, they only sell Chinese crap too, and are run by an uber-liberal.
Boycott NASCAR because they have foreign cars participating, and so on.
I am sick to bloody death of it all. I try to not spend money at entities who have made a concerted effort to undermine various aspects of society, but in the end, it is a personal decision.
People should boycott what they wish to boycott and leave others alone unless they are living in a cave somewhere.
I am just tired of it.
Amen FRiend
And for what it is worth, even though I don’t frequent your threads much, I enjoy them, including all the images and accompanying commentary. Don’t stop posting them.
Re your predictions, post 12: Pretty good!
