Glen Campbell with one more mean rendition of the William Tell Overture, aka the Lone Ranger theme. Like most us I loved the Long Ranger when I was a kid and still watch it on FETV every night.

Amazing he did it on a 12 string electric!

One of the early members of “The Wrecking Crew” - a group of super talented studio musicians led by the great Hal Blaine on drums.
“The Wrecking Crew” played on all the hits recorded in LA back in the 60’s and early 70’s. including all of the Beach Boys, Mamas/Papas, Jan&Dean, etc...
btw, Glen borrowed & played Wrecking Crew’s Carol Kaye’s 6-string bass on his “Witchita Lineman” solo.

I wonder if he’s getting any experimental treatment for Alzheimer’s. There was an article the other day about a treatment that can clear the plaque.

That clip is from his 2001 concert with the South Dakota symphony. My wife and I have watched it. A very good concert by Mr. Campbell. He had been living for God for several years by that time, and his attitude during the concert seemed to show that.

Thanks for putting up this thread.
I’m pretty good at a few things but music never clicked.
My wife is a church organist and I ask her about chords and such but I just don’t get it.
