Kaepernick’s protest is as American as that flag
ESPN The Undefeated ^ | August 29, 2016 | Domonique Foxworth

Posted on 08/29/2016 12:17:18 PM PDT by C19fan

I am just as much an American as I am a Foxworth.

My son and his future sons will be as much Foxworths and Americans as I am. And my father is and his father was and so on. But my bloodline in this nation can be traced back to before America was even a country — when my ancestors were neither American nor Foxworths.

OK then, ESPN, by your logic it’s just as American for us to boycott his sorry a$$ as well as the 49’s.

Remember, with the left, it’s never about principle; it’s about “feelings” and money.

When your hearing has been modified by high explosives you do not always hear things properly. Colon Claperdick is what our perp sounded like to me at first.

Perhaps these jackasses would feel a little different about the flag if they had to present it to a grieving widow with little kids silently looking on.

I think that American citizens should have the duty to attend the funerals of our war dead. It would be like jury duty with no exceptions.

Our flag isn’t just some cloth on a pole. It also represents our war dead.

You can argue out what this nation means, but there is no argument about what our dead Soldiers mean.

They must never dishonor our war dead.

Only ghouls would do that.

” But my bloodline in this nation can be traced back to before America was even a country — when my ancestors were neither American nor Foxworths.”

Your moral worth is not dependent on your “bloodline”. This is what’s wrong in this country. People actually think their value depends on the place of origin of their ancestors.

Sorry, idiot, but you do not have moral superiority over me or anyone else. I did not inherit moral value or turpitude from my parents. Do you really think that you are better than me because most of your ancestors lived in this country thousands of years ago?

Domonique’s journalism career will probably be as short-lived as his football career. Both mediocre. Maybe he should go back to his native England and protest there where he would soon be under Muslim rule.

If he did something like burn a “rainbow flag”, he’d be out of the NFL immediately.

I’m wondering if this wasn’t done on purpose because if the 49’ers cut Kaepernick, now he can scream racism. Just a thought.

I suspect if you talked to him he would be very earnest about it all. I doubt he is consciously aware of why he is doing this. It would probably take a lot of therapy before he would admit to himself why he's doing what he's doing.

I'm just really, really glad the Broncos were not able to sign him in the offseason.

The world is a dangerous and deadly place when America has an empty suit weakling as its leader. Imagine how much worse it would be if America didn’t exist. Evil would reign supreme without America.

Domonique Foxworth - born in Oxford, England. Check his wiki page. No mention of who his parents were or where they were from.

Had to go look him up. Apparently he’s an ex-NFL and producer. Still have no clue about him and care to know.

“Kaepernick’s career is as over as ESPN’s dominance in sports broadcasting. Bunch of PC lefties wearing make-up.”

If I followed the sport I would no longer follow or support his team. Time will tell if he has done as much damage to the brand as Target did when they mindlessly went PC.

The problem is the one-way street. Conservatives are fired all the time for speaking their mind OUTSIDE of their job.
Here we have a football player INSIDE his job, behaving like a douche.
BUT if he got fired, he would be THE martyr, and the new spokesman for BLM.

Here’s the dealio......Mr. Multimillionmaire is wrong on his FACTS. Policemen require 60 college credits (an AA degree) to even be considered for the academy.

Moreover his sympathy for BLM shows stupidity. More whites are shot than blacks. The police shoot people who are noncompliant, have a gun, are beating on the police officer, are a danger to the public......Mr. I Can’t Throw A Pass NEVER addresses gangs, single parent homes, absent fathers, lack of education, drug addiction, criminal life style. His own black father deserted his mother. Fortunately for him he was adopted out to an intact family.

Criticizing this guy is ALSO an exercise of free speech.

Refusing to watch his games is ALSO an exercise of free speech.

Refusing to buy things he endorses is ALSO an exercise of free speech.
