Confidentiality? Yes, thats the State Departments story on why the Obama administration is stonewalling the American people regarding the presidents illegal and increasingly suspicious Iransom payoff. The administration refuses to divulge any further information about the $1.7 billion the president acknowledges paying the worlds leading state sponsor of terrorism.
Grilled on Wednesday about how Obama managed to pay the final $1.3 billion installment particularly given the presidents claim that it is not possible to send Tehran a check or wire-transfer State Department spokesman Mark Toner decreed that the administration would continue withholding this information in order to protect confidentiality.
Whose confidentiality? The mullahs? That of the intermediaries the president used? Whose privacy takes precedence over our right to know how Obama funneled our money to our enemies?
The closest thing to an answer we have to the latest round of questions comes courtesy of the perseverance of the investigative journalist Claudia Rosett. (You werent expecting the Republican Congress to be minding the purse, were you?)
Recall that we have been asking about the $1.3 billion payment since the first revelations about this sordid affair. After all, if, as Obama and his toadies maintain, the payment is totally on the up and up just a routine legal settlement involving Irans own money then why wont they answer basic questions about it?

Why? Because the left instinctively sides with evil? Because 0bama and the Iranian mullahs both hate Israel? Why would he do this?
What mystery? A criminal act occurred. It’s not rocket surgery.
hopefully, someone will jump on this - Clinton's 'third Obama admin' will be more of the same old, same old theft from taxpayers
Due to the secrecy, who is to say that it’s ONLY $1.3 Billion? Perhaps it is much more, delivered with some nuclear warheads and some stealth technology and other things that can be used against us.
This President along with the DNC has given ample reason not to trust them.
Those are my tax dollars.
I want answers.
Ysm
The theft of $ TRILLION of our tax money also needs investigation. Remember all those “shovel- ready jobs” Obama promised and only later was forced to admit never existed? He still took our money for them - and the media has not even bothered to find out where all our missing money is
This is somewhere beyond “stinks to high heaven.” These are the actions of an enemy controlled Administration funding those who will try to kill or conquer all of us.
Where the Hell are our Republican congress critters who should all be in a single chorus on every news outlet on earth shaming this administration for all its f’n secrecy??????????????????????????/
How is this not treason?
The last person who thought that structuring was a good way to get around a monetary cap is in federal prison for it.
But he was a Republican.
More specifically, and mentioned in related threads, the Founding States made Congress, particularly the House of Representatives, responsible for the nations purse. This is evidenced by the Constitutions Clause 1 of Section 7 of Article I and Clause 7 of Section 9 of that same section.
Article I, Section 7, Clause 1: All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
Article I, Section 9, Clause 7: No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.
Corrupt Congress must look forward to using likewise corrupt, last-term presidents as its "useful idiot." Patriots need to consider ironing the wrinkles out of the 22nd Amendment.
Remember in November !
Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trumps vision for making America great again for everybody, but will put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs.
Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
“Where the Hell are our Republican congress critters”
Completely distracted, watching their on-line off-shore account for the deposit to clear.
Thank you for your cognitive observation.
And 6billion missing from State Dept. And no one is accountable.
