Nearly $100 million has been spent on general-election TV advertisements in the presidential race since the primary season ended, but Donald Trump's campaign still hasn't spent a single cent on one of them.

The attention span of a low information voter is about 48 hours. So why bother dumping money down a rat hole?
Yup, and I’m happy to wait until the ads are most effective in mid-October to see them.
Hillary is starting to look like Jeb.
Yeah. Me too. Since 1997. TV ads are SOOOOOO 20th century. :-)
Every commercial break I see a Clinton ad showing republicans saying that Trump is to mentally unstable to have his finger on the nuclear button, painting him as Goldwater’s evil twin.
I have yet to see a Trump ad.
That's EXACTLY right! Trump will outspend Team Hillary in OCTOBER with probably the biggest barrage of attack ads the world has ever seen
Anything else is on DVR or Tivo and we zip through every commercial.
I expect to see some political ads during the games but everything else is a waste as far as I am concerned.
Don’t be surprised if the MSM try and refuse to run them
Remember.......
Paul Manafort said: “We Don’t Plan On Winning In August, We Plan On Winning In November”
Good, nobody will wee them.
I think during the debates and based on the debats would be a good plan
Turned mine off 3 years ago. Don’t miss it. Whatever content I want is free on youtube or full30.com.

Saw my first “Hillary” ad last night here in Central Indiana. Probably on the Olympics. It was the usual liberal crap; we’re gonna make the rich pay and invest in good jobs, etc... Why she even promised me a free ham tree for my back yard, and a pet unicorn, too!
Unfortunately, there are plenty of stupid people who will fall for her scam.
Wears herself out? She does that eating breakfast.

Saw that too. I think it was a national ad.
Anybody know?
The people that are swayed by TV ads were gonna vote for Hillary anyway. LIVs.
Perhaps I’m naive, but how could anybody be “undecided” at this point? These are by far the two most well known candidates in history.
Now perhaps GOTV work would be useful, but trying to sway opinion at this point seems like a joke.
imho, Trump is making a mistake here. I have seen numerous Hillary ads and unfortunately some people are influenced by them. Also for some people this is the only source of info about the candidates besides the biased MSM. There is a great deal of negative facts about Hillary but it doesn’t search a segment of the population.
