OK I think Pokemon Go is lame but shooting someone for playing it. Tad excessive, no?

Investigators were puzzled by what led to the slaying.

White guy 10PM Saturday night on fisherman's wharf eyes-glued to the iPhone and they wonder what the 'motive' is for the slaying?

How frigging duplicitous are these people?

Has anyone considered the pokemon that he was hunting as a suspect? C’mon people! This is Captain Obvious territory!

Easy target totally unaware of his surroundings.

This is nearby where Kate Steinle was shot in the back and murdered as well — by an illegal alien.

Situational awareness and Pokemon Go cannot coexist. If you are walking around isolated inner city areas at Midnight, your situational awareness needs to be at least DefCon 4.

Idiot. Sad he died, but this was pure Darwinism. A calf Impala strolling around a hyena den. Not smart.

Here is hoping at least they catch and convict his murderer. Seems senseless unless it was a crazy homeless guy, but if one had a gubpn he would swap it for drugs or alcohol.

Must be gang related initiation or some such. It was like the knock out game but for keeps. A completely unaware victim.

Young white male ambushed - shot in the back without warning and for no apparent reason? Sounds very similar to the murder last year of Chris Lane:

As the family of an Australian baseball player gunned down in Oklahoma mourns his death, police said today that the college athlete was targeted by three black teenagers who simply "wanted to see someone die."
The suspects followed Chris Lane, 22, as he jogged alongside a road in Duncan, Okla., Friday afternoon, shot him in the back and left him to die on the side of the road, said Duncan Police Chief Danny Ford…
