GARY, INDIANA — A woman who went to buy charcoal was discriminated against and kicked out of a Family Dollar store for wearing a niqab and hijab, according to a report from ABC 7.
Sarah Safi, 32, went to the store to buy some charcoal for a family barbecue, ABC 7 reports.
“I might have made it 10 steps into the store and I hear the lady behind the counter say, ‘Ma’am, you need to take that off your face or you need to leave my store,” Safi said.
She then began to record the exchange with the clerk on her cellphone. Safi told the clerk she wears the niqab and hijab for religious purposes. The clerk, who identified herself as the manager, still insisted that Safi leave.
“I understand, but you have to understand too this is a high crime area and we get robbed a lot. You need to remove that from your face or remove yourself from the store,” the clerk says in the video.
With her children waiting in the car, the clerk told Safi if she didn’t leave the premises she would call the police.
On her way out, the employee was kind enough to say, “have a blessed day.”

It is against the law to wear a mask covering your identity in many states. Wouldn’t that include a niqab and hijab,?
I saw a presumably Muslim woman drapped in black from head to toe be thrown out of a grocery store in North Carolina.
You can wear a mask on Halloween here but only if you are under 16 yes old, so
that trick-or-treat outfit she’s wearing.......no bueno.
It’s possible a robber (man or woman) could assume that garb and then proceed to rob the store. Objection justified.
Only the Lone Ranger should wear a mask...

It’s not just the covered face. Those hijab wearers are notorious for shoplifting. I’ve seen plenty of videos of them slipping merchandise under their hijab.
These people running around in rags that we either recognize as slave clothes or terrorist garb are simply asking for trouble. There is no “acceptance” here. This is a culture at should be confined to the Petri dish it slithered out of. Most people used to understand this, but the evil that permeates the left has either blinded them or terrified them into silence.
In the old cowboy movies, if you came into a bank with a bandana over your face, you could be shot. What’s the difference if it’s a niqab instead of a bandana?

I just love those signs in the docs offices, no perfume, after shave, or body sprays, they should include those very smelly body washes..those of us with allergies to the smells would appreciate it.

I’m ok with the burka and headscarf, but when they are peering out of a slit in a full black sheet, it is over the top for me. It’s not discrimination, for me it is just damned spooky and disconcerting. Who knows what’s under all that stuff, man? Woman? Terrorist? What? It’s stupid anyway, just because Muslim men are so weak they must cover their woman or they lose control and rape them. Can’t believe their women don’t tell them to man up.
