They should have a mode where you get to be the ghosts. Also, you should have other characters to replace the new movie’s protagonists with. (I vote for the original Charlie’s Angels, Farrah Fawcett-Majors, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson)

Would be interesting to see where royalties/profits are contracted to go (before BR). I’m betting this might be a new “business model” to shed expenses in bankruptcy proceedings, know short life cycle of product and company (formed exclusively for this one product?)

Maybe Obama can sign an executive order forcing every famous America to buy a copy or pay a penalty on their taxes.

Better .... Profit and loss are known almost immediately in our electronic world.
True the sexist comment, but more fascinating is how quickly a result is known.

It’s actually quite common for special effect companies and video game companies to bankrupt. Movie studios look for capable companies that are hungry for business and then they drive the hardest bargain possible.

The company was likely going down anyway and their death would have been unnoted except for the fact that they made a game based on a dud movie.

The first Ghostbusters trailer on Googtube is very close to having a million dislikes. Currently sitting at 986,000+.

I guess a video game where three people compete to see which one is the most gay was DOOMed from the git-go. Probably be able to pick it up for .99 in GameStop and have it just for the comedy effect.

Guess the market for gamers who love ugly, boring, unfunny dykes is not quite as strong as they thought....

No market for the movie, no market for the game. This whole reboot has “stinko” written all over it.

This game didn’t have much to do with it overall. I’m a gamer and Fireforge games sucked. I haven’t seen this one but it was the studio trying to market without going with a major company (cutting corners). This would have happened anyway

That happens all the time. Not because of the gamers, because of the game companies. It’s one of the favorite dirty pools, one of the big companies (like EA) contracts out to a small developer who can’t afford to have multiple projects, they feed them just enough of the promised money to keep them alive until completion then suddenly checks stop going out. The company can’t afford to live long enough to fight it in court, they go under, EA keeps all the revenue. It’s a dirty industry.
