MARK LEVIN: FACT:Reagan never endorsed Gerald Ford at any time during the 1976 GOP convention or campaign
The Reagans were furious at how the Ford campaign had attacked them. Paul Manafort will know this as he was a top delegate counter for Ford and against Reagan at that convention. Ford won the nomination, of course, then lost to Jimmy Carter. Four years later, Reagan won the nomination, won the general election in a landslide, and the rest is history.

Ford won the nomination, of course, then lost to Jimmy Carter. Four years later, Reagan won the nomination, won the general election in a landslide, and the rest is history. And over a million people have died because Jimmy Carter was President, and before the consequences of his bungling finally exhaust themselves, I expect the Jimmy Carter death toll may reach into the hundreds of millions.
Carter represents the Stupidest man to ever sit in the office prior to Barack Obama, who now holds that record.

Both Levin and Cruz will endorse Mr. Trump. There is NFW either will take any steps that help The Beast. There’s a long way to go in this election cycle and both are trying to push Mr. Trump away from Bernie supporters and closer to grass roots conservatives.

As I said, he has lost his mind. Had to turn him off months ago and I was an avid listener."
Same here.
I think some of it has to do with his rivalry with Dr. Savage (who endorsed Trump pretty early and had him on his show a number of times).
Those two have been trading thinly veiled barbs at each other for a long time. When Savage's guy won it pushed Levin over the edge.

I don’t think it has anything to do with Savage endorsing Trump. Levin used to have on Trump. Why did he have him on if he thought so little of him?

Good thing I could jump ahead and only waste 6 minutes finding out that Reagan did not endorse Ford in this speech either.
Maybe someone can find it.

Levin had Trump on his show during the Primaries?
It's a competition thing, the two of them have been at it for a long time...and Levin lost.

Totally different times and scenario’s - Cruz cannot creat a Reagan “moment”, he is only slitting his own political throat.
Cruz is too arrogant and delusional to realize he can’t get elected dog catcher without Trump’s supporters.

You think Reagan was speaking against Ford at the 76 convention speech?
Guess we hear two entirely different speeches.

Reagan won 1000+ delegates vs Ford in 1976.
Cruz won less than 500 vs Trump in 2016.
Reagan > Cruz
Cruz < Reagan
Cruz <> Reagan

Levin is mad that he didn’t have more of an effect during the primary, but I don’t think it has to do with a competition with Michael Savage.

Just goes to show, you can't believe everything you read on the internet Mark Levin's website.

Reagan never signed a silly juvenile pledge so didn’t have to endorse Ford.
