Sounds lovely! :)

We had the last of the broccoli, steamed, for dinner. Only ONE worm - but no one but me knows about THAT, LOL!

New potatoes with butter and fresh parsley from the garden.

A pork loin, but it was no one we personally knew (for a change), LOL!

More zukes and cukes than I know what to do with - so I have to get cracking on THAT this upcoming week. Way too much kale, too. Yeesh!

Beans are just starting to bear, so another week for them, and I pruned the tomato plants (from the bottom to get rid of blighted leaves) and sprayed them all with copper (organic) to slow down the early blight that always happens.

Rain late tonight and on and off tomorrow - which we need.

I’m glad you could still find some bedding plants - the nurseries around here will have their fall Mums out in another 2 weeks!

Wish I could say I miss my job at Jung’s, but I don’t. I miss my friends, but looking back, I don’t know how I survived TEN YEARS of those InSaNe CrAzY Spring Seasons! :)

Oh wow! Save some dinner for me! I’ll be right over! LOL! :-D

It was a surprise to me too, to be able to find these! Our local nursery was closed by the time we drove by their store, but we saw the signs of 50%-75% off and plan to show up on Monday! They had some plants Darlin was interested in!

I was very happy to find the herbs. I could have bought several different kinds of tomato plants, but truth to tell, I just don’t have the energy right now to deal with that. Mr. Dillons grocery store has a REALLY good gardener! ;-D

I’m hoping to be able to buckle down and get the garden prepped this fall so it can sit and simmer until spring!

Glad you are enjoying your Diana time!

I can relate to missing the people. When I switched careers, that was what I missed too - the people that I was used to seeing daily. Then, same thing when I retired. Missed the people.

I have enough trouble just getting my little raised beds done, I don’t know how anyone gets all the stuff done that you were doing.
