Michael Savage, the host of the nationally syndicated “The Savage Nation,” will be inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.
Savage told WND he will be inducted Nov. 17 at a ceremony in Chicago in the category of Spoken Word On-Air Personality.
“To me, this is the capstone of my life,” Savage said, “all my writing, all my speaking. This is it.”
This year, the National Radio Hall of Fame gave listeners a direct voice in selecting the inductees, allowing them to vote via text. The other nominees in his category were Sean Hannity, Diane Rehm and Mike Francesca.
Savage noted that he had promised his listeners that if he won, he would go to Chicago and “during my five minute speech, I would thank them for responding to my message of borders, language and culture.”

Michael Savage was one of the very few that predicted that Donald Trump would be the Republican nominee and stuck with him throughout the process. Hannity wimped out saying he was neutral. Rush also was wishy washy. Levin was a complete ass both during and after the nomination process.
Tickled to read critics who could carry an audience for 15 minutes or a segment much less off the insight and competence of Savage. In addition the many is brilliant in his own right.

I think of some type of horticulture - he’s mentioned on occasions he used to be a scientist/ collector of rare plants and his plants are in museums throughout the world. I’m serious. Renaissance man.

The MSM reports the “news” as they would like it to be and it has no connection with reality.
So I’ll bite. Who is his chief competitor? I’m suspecting Hannity but he’s on at weird times where I live.
I’m shocked, in a good way. Michael has the courage to speak political correctness without apology. He is a little “off” sometimes, but his voice is sorely needed in this day.

Congrats to Savage. He has earned it.
He and Mark Levin have had an ongoing battle for years. Sometimes, it spills over into their programs. It sort of resembles a couple of kids arguing with each other, calling each other names, etc.
