'This situation is not uncommon,' an RSPCA spokesman said to Daily Mail Australia.
'We often have reports of people going to parks and removing birds like pigeons or ducks.
He added that the RSPCA will be investigating the Camellia Gardens incident further.

This is the shocking moment a man appeared to take a duck from a public park in Sydney, placing it in a plastic bag being held open by his young son.
He was filmed picking up the bird in Camellia Gardens in Caringbah South, southern Sydney, on Saturday and attempting to place it in the bag.
A passer-by filmed him scooping up the animal gently and smile as he walked towards his son with the bird in his hands.
It is not clear whether they left the park with the animal or not. Some have suggested the man may have been trying to help the duck and not take it unlawfully. A man was filmed scooping up a duck and appearing to place it into a plastic bag as his young son held it open +3

The clip caused outrage online over the welfare of the duck with some reporting it to the RSPCA.
The ducks are a popular attraction at Camellia Gardens, with visitors allowed to feed the birds and even buy duck food from the nearby tea house.
The incident has been lodged the RSPCA as a cruelty complaint and an Inspector will attend to the animal as soon as possible.

OK jokers. Go to liveleak.com and watch barbarians torching a dog alive. Sick scum all around us. Be aware. You or your loved one could be next. Be aware and be prepared.
There you go, didnt they always tell us that Asians will eat anything?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Australian duck? Yech! They get the culinary Darwin Award for just flying way too far South in the winter. Now they are attracting hordes of Asians to immigrate. I mean why do we put up with such quacks?
Look at what your sick world neighbors do:
Warning it is extremely sick and graphic torture of a dog.
However, it is reality. This happens today.
It probably happens in the U.S.. Do not punish me for delivering this foul reality.
This is our enemy.

Whaaat? I have never in my life witnessed such a thing at a park.
You quack me up.
so, couple of years ago it got really cold here in central Florida, there was a fish kill and tons of them were floating dead like in Tampa Bay. here comes a white van which stops and about 400 Asians get out armed with buckets. they collected more dead fish than they could carry. and it smelled lovely.
haven’t been back to any chinese restaurant since.
No, thanks, I do not want to go there, but please tell me who and where.
“Whaaat? I have never in my life witnessed such a thing at a park.”
I used to throw the canoe in a little lake at a park to fish that was over run by ducks. One day I spotted an Asian catching one of them.
A few months later, not one duck remained. And there was much rejoicing.
Diversity is our strength.

Could have been worse! At least it's not a jolly jumbuck in a tucker bag.
They should send them downtown and let them take the pigeons. They're just overgrown doves, right?
I have an excellent recipe for wild duck, you put it in a pot and boil it with a brick, and when the brick is soft, you throw away the duck.
I have often considered I’d never starve to death in San Francisco if I could discreetly trap pigeons.
Never tried squab, but, it is comforting to note.
Oh and the Canada geese! In Alameda CA they make the grass fields absolutely unuseable!!! I wish some of the bolder among us would just take them out! I fear animal cruelty charges.
