Went to the Charlie Daniel's Concert last night @ Sweetland Outdoor Theater in LaGrange, GA. Charlie has endorsed Trump. He gave a rousing talk about how this country is going to hell in a hand basket. There was a real sense of fear and forboding in his voice. Anyway was a warm Georgia evening, and Charlie was great, and I wore my Make America Great Again hat, and people kept giving me the thumbs up. I can't see how this country will vote for anyone but Trump, not when places like West Georgia are all out for him. If you haven't done this, wear your Trump hat @ Walmart today and see for yourself.
How nice that you got to see Charlie Daniels perform. He’s a genius.
Will he be performing at convention?
GO.TRUMP.GO!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE OVAL OFFICE!!!
I hope so...
I’m not trying to make a big deal about this, but what you say is so true. It does take a bit of courage to wear the hat in public. I think it’s cool when I see a couple wearing them. You want to be clean and neat looking, and be prepared for whatever. I’ve not encountered any bad reactions, but then again, I haven’t shoved it in anyone’s face. For example, I doubt I’d venture into a latino bar wearing it. I’ll go to the grocery store and be about my business. Usually get the comments going thru check thru. Some young black people will sometimes say, “WHy would you be for a racist?” I say, “I don’t think he is. Our country is in trouble. People like you and me need to rally together, to elect someone who will do the right thing.”

He usually has a morning and evening prayer and something in-between. Met him many times. Gracious man, extremely talented, one of our finest.
Charlie Daniels came to Al Asad Airbase, in Iraq, on a USO tour performing in a dust storm. He had to be convinced by much cajoling to leave the stage, as the winds were becoming dangerous, not to mention the negative health aspects of breathing in fine particulates of blowing sand and who knows what else that the wind might of picked up crossing a war ravaged desert/nation.
The carpenter shop that I worked at was tasked with constructing the stage. One privilege by that fact, was a front row position, so as to be in close proximity, should the need arise to make repairs.
Charlie eventually conceded to stop playing, as the commanders did not want their soldiers, seamen, airmen, and marines out in the storm, and they weren't leaving as long as Charlie kept playing.
Charlie went over to the base theater and signed autographs in a meet and greet session.
Charlie definitely supports our men and women in uniform, and cares deeply about our country, and wears all of it on his sleeve- 24/7.

Charlie Daniels Band came to play Al Asad in 2009 and just before he was introduced, a dust storm came out of nowhere.

How lucky to attend the concert! You look nice wearing tour Trump hat! I was walking over to the neighborhood bank of mailboxes wearing a Trump shirt... An elderly neighbor was there and looked at my shirt.. I though he looked a little angry, but as he was walking away he said..”good for you, we need him”... You just never know!
If you look really close- you can see nikos in his MAGA Trump hat! Woot! Woot!
How in the heck did you get this!!!!?? That’s me in the second row, 13th to the right of the middle aisle. I’m sitting next to the girl in white slacks and green top, black hair! I’ve got the black shirt on! Where you get this? lol
Ha! That’s great!
I know people!
Dang ol’ Internet is one scary big brother contraption!
I see ya’ bro! lol
You can run, but you can’t hide!
It’s off of Charlie’s Twitter account.
Confession- when I posted the image, I could not find you, even though I used wording that sounded like I did...
I am just as surprised as you are, that you were in the image- I kept looking for someone with a red hat, but to no avail. I thought- well, he must be way up in the back in the shadows.
Imagine my surprise when you pointed out that you were indeed in the image, 2nd row, 14th position, center aisle right.
By the way- my lumbar issue is all better, and as you correctly opined (no doctor-patient relationship exists between us) it was not sciatica.
I had become institutionalized by hiking/camping over the last four years, and felt comfortable sleeping on the floor, which is carpeting over concrete. Sleeping outdoors is significantly different- providing a softer bedding and often an undulating surface. I started sleeping on a futon bed, letting one of my legs dangle over the other leg, hanging down off the bed, which over time realigned my spine.
Thanks for the non medical opinion!
Great seats, by the way. ;O)
Where is his Twttter Account?
