Well, and the FBI was never involved in the Nixon investigation. He did fire the prosecutor, disband the investigation, and accept the resignations of the AG and deputy AG, so you know, he really wasn’t that honorable on the whole thing.

Well before Mo Biner met John Dean she was a high priced call girl working for Xaviera Hollander of Happy Hooker fame.
Xaviera’s operation had been chased out of New York City and was instead being run from a desk in the DNC offices at the Watergate. The very desk that the burglar/plumbers were sent to bug. And to recover a certain page in the ‘hooker book’ that contained Mo Biner’s contact info.
The genesis of Watergate was John Dean’s irritation with prospective clients calling his girlfriend. And the possibility of getting blackmail material on other politicians from a bug on the hooker desk.
The authors of Silent Coup weren’t looking for something like this when they began their book. Their goal was to create a ‘harmony of Watergate accounts’ by every participant who had written about Watergate.
Their story begins with a long forgotten incident whereupon the Joint Chiefs of Staff essentially had a spy inside the White House communications office (they really did, this isn’t a conspiracy tale). And it includes a young Navy liaison officer between the military chiefs and the White House who was none other than Bob Woodward.
Anyway they stumbled over the Mo Dean connection at some point. John Dean had been mentoring their project up to that point, but turned hostile when they asked him about her. Imagine that.
The FBI was involved with the Watergate investigation.

FBI only investigate the initial break-in. Once that led to CREEP and abuse of power (some of which illegal use of the FBI) it went to the AG and the independent investigator and eventually congressional.
You don’t destroy a party. Nixon destroyed the GOP for... for 4 whole years, then the GOP won the next 3 elections.
Political circuses that accomplish nothing make me bored. Nothing will come of this. Much like nothing really came of Watergate, or Iran-Contra, or all of Bill’s scandals and “investigations”. It’s theater, it’s pointless. It has a very slim chance of keeping Hillary out, and beyond that will do nothing.

We’ve been having this kind of idiotic investigation for over 40 years and so far the grand total accomplishments of ALL those investigations combined is:

And this one will continue the trend. Be happy on your illusions if you must. But given that the Benghazi report finished this week really you should already know exactly how this is going to end.

Again, look how long the GOP was down after Nixon. 1 election cycle, that’s it. And they gained seats in Carter’s midterm, so not even a full election cycle. Learn the lessons of history, you get fewer surprises.

The leading Democrat presidential candidate.
Federal law enforcement agents were grilling her about her behavior.

Yes, the FBI talked to Hillary. And now CNN is saying no charges will be filed.

There has been a massive shift in the public’s values. There has been 80 plus years of propaganda 24/7. The attacks result from hatred of all American institutions by emigres and their puppets the black both out for revenge. The propaganda was less virulent when I started college in the 50’s. However, it was there, often wearing a smiling face. My professor of American Political Science-which we had to take in those days-was quite humorous and extremely liberal. The court was the liberal refuge in those days forcing a leftist legal agenda starting with the 1954 Brown case. One cannot set forth all that happened on this limited forum it would take a book.
My only “caring” is that delusional people who can’t open their eyes make me kind of sick. If you’d pay some attention to the world around you, to the well proven FACT that people in Hillary’s part of the world have never faced any consequences for any of their actions and never will, you’d be smarter, and stomach would feel better.
Hillary will never spend time in a prison unless she’s decided to give a speech about the problems in the penal system.

I think plenty of happy thoughts. I just don’t think STUPID thoughts. Really, think about it. Here we are just days after the Benghazi “hearing” resulted in nothing. Repeat that NOTHING. Literally YEARS were spent “investigating” what Hillary did relating to Benghazi, thousands of pages were filled with all kinds of testimony and evidence. And it was there to “justify” the final 3 words: no wrong doing.
Now really with all that wrapping up just days ago, just how freaking stupid does a person have to be to think the end result of this e-mail thing will be any different? Really. Use your head, pay attention to history and really THINK. Give me 3 good, logical, sound, not “happy thoughts” reasons why this would wind up any different than Benghazi. Than Lewinski. Than Iran Contra. Than fill in the freaking blank.

Thinking of that just makes me warm and fuzzy all over.
If I’m going to waste time and energy imagining things that will never happen those imaginings will involve better looking women than Hillary wearing very little clothing and doing things that cannot be discussed in polite company.
Meanwhile, out in reality. Hillary will never be indicted. Ever. She could hold a press announcement right now saying yes she did it, and she did it on purpose so that America’s enemies could hack her servers and the AG will STILL declare no wrong doing.
