Rock singer Meat Loaf collapsed on stage during a concert in Edmonton, Alberta, on Thursday night and was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
The 68-year-old had canceled two other concerts in recent days in Moose Jaw on Saturday and in Calgary on Tuesday citing ill health.
A video of the performance at Edmontons Jubilee Auditorium showed the singer dropping his microphone and falling to the floor amid a performance of his classic Id Do Anything for Love (But I Wont Do That). Musicians went to his side to help, and the music eventually stopped.

Prayers out for Mr. Aday. (Does anyone know his real first name? Half the sites say it’s Michael and half say it’s Marvin)
It’s Mr. Meat Loaf, right? I mean, come on!
Went to high school with M.L. He was the manager of the “Rebels” high school football team.
Everyone thought he went off the deep end when he joined the glee club, of all things, and got a big part in a school musical. But, he got the last laugh, selling 80 million records, didn’t he?
Birth name is Marvin; he legally changed it to Michael in 2001. Don’t know the motivation thereof.
Michael Lee Aday.
If you call that music.
..If you call that music....
Like I said, he got the last laugh.
Hope he’s OK. I saw Steely Dan and Steve Winwood perform last night in Mountain View - singing and performing live must be physically demanding and performers from that era are getting up there in age.
Hope he’s ok.
