I understand why the club was targeted. But it could have been a mall or a ball game or a theater. There are enough infidels in any of those places to provide a good jihadist his motivation. The club shooting is not worse because it involved gays, but that is how it is being played. Will this be what it takes for them to realize that “we sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm”? I won’t hold my breath.
Give it 9 months.
Then we’ll be back to remembrances of some gay bar in New York where a few guys got beat up in the ‘60s.

As a social conservative, I will always feel sorry for and pray for this dysfunctional lifestyle. Having said this, I support there right to defend themselves. Frankly I cannot stand the flamboyant in-your-face deviants, but I have respect for those who shut the _____ up about their sexuality and just do a day’s work! These poor souls in Orlando did not deserve this holocaust caused by a demonic soul. I just wish early on somebody had a concealed weapon who could have terminated this vermin early!
They will be welcomed so long as they have the courtesy to keep their abominable behavior out of our faces. We don’t need to know about the perversions in which they choose to engage.
I didn’t know either. We need more gay conservatives out there defending us straight conservatives. We can agree to disagree on what the gay thing is, but damned if I’m not always grateful and happy to meet gay and black conservatives, or anyone that goes against the party line, marching orders, or plantation. And they never wear it on their sleeves or join the so-and-so rights marches and protests. Good for these people.

Sadly, these attacks will continue no matter if everyone in America is armed. The only thing that will do is mitigate the massacre. The jihadi will only kill 5 instead of 15. Or worse, they’ll just resort to planting bombs and/or blowing themselves up.
The solution does not lie in America. Rather, it lies in defeating ISIS in Iraq, Syria and abroad. When we completely destroy them and take out their leaders, the crazy would be jihadi’s will have no one to inspire them to commit acts of SJS (sudden jihadi syndrome) and they will have no guidance or direction from the “mother ship”. We have a president who does not take this current war seriously. They are the JV team. One of his few constitutional duties and he shirks it. Instead, he would rather work on taking our a God given constitutionally protected rights. When I read the constitution, I don’t see that in his job description...
