The cast of the long unawaited Ghostbusters movie appeared on The Jimmy Kimmel Show on Thursday to promote the remake that nobody asked for.

I watch good movies and bad movies.
I just don’t watch their movies when actors start calling me names and making the whole thing into some sort of pseudo-social/political issue. Very often, once an actor has opened his/her liberal mouth...they’re generally off my “go see” list forever (think Matt Damon, Tom Hanks).
The original BW featuring Chilly Billy Cardille was pretty hinky but was iconic of the genre
As Ted Templeman famously said, “if you redo a proven hit, youre already halfway there.
“...Godzilla is one example to me - the second being better than the first.”
Add to the list Zero Hour - it was remade into a big hit: Airplane.
My life is perfectly fine without Melissa McCarthy. Don’t need to see her movies.
How many times was JRR Tolkien books made for TV were even watchable ?
My objection is typically when they "update" a movie storyline, they include the "homo" reference, the "minority" reference, A Social Justice narrative, when none existed before...
No. I’m an American (born in New Jersey). Been living in Krasnodar (on and off) for over 20 years.
“Ghost busters was never a classic”
I disagree with you there.
It was really fun to watch Reagans reelection when the ‘Fritzbusters’ would jump on stage next to him (RR); the music would play: ‘who you gonna call and everybody would scream: Fritzbusters!’
That’s a classic!
Remake of “the wages of fear” sadly both films are lost in a wash of CGI Spielberg/lucas Hollywood BS
I’m just of the opinion that just throwing in some so-called ‘actor’ like Keanu or Mark, or Cruise to draw box office doesn’t make the attempt just a pathetic ploy to maximize profit.
TCM has become the 2nd most viewed channel here. Second only to ME-TV since most of what Turner airs is better than most of what’s on today.
I’ve picked up listing to radio spirits on XM in the past few months and that is why I subscribed.
One show that I know I watched but don’t remember hardly anything about any episode was Hack. The season 1 DVD has shown there is a big gap in my TV memory which is usually good.

Seeing it again I remember why I liked it so much.
That is one of my favorite movies...
I was around 10 years old and saw it for the first time...completely engrossed in the story line and was cheering at the end...
LOL... my heart was in my throat when they put the last cartridge in to start the engine...
The remake wasn't bad, just not as good as the original
I worked for Ronnie and some how I missed all that LOL
Wonder how much of a McDonnell Douglas commercial it will be?
May I ask what are your favorite things about Russia? What is Krasnodar agriculture famous for?
The fact that they didn’t respect the original has guaranteed a short and pitiful stay in the theatres.
